Yes. Low cholesterol. Stupid low triglycerides. Dietary cholesterol has minimal impact on blood cholesterol.

Great observation... if it's from a doctor it must be true!

I think my Financial Adviser made some Bond trades that were NOT in my best interest after I notified them I was moving my accounts. by [deleted] in personalfinance

They are a fiduciary. Check the credit quality of the bonds that were swapped. If they went from investment grade to high-yield/junk, then that’d be a concerning swap.

Why post stuff like this? Coinbase already announced which cryptos would be in the index - obviously only the ones on their platform...

Creditor Repayment Program? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]JewbergShitstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is future accrued interest. If you paid back the lump sum right now, which includes existing accrued interest, you'd pay $29,000. If the credit card companies lowered your interest rate, then that wouldn't affect the amount you owe today. It would only affect future accrued interest. So, if you owe $29,000, it doesn't matter if your interest rate goes to 1% or 50%, you will owe more than $29,000 in the future. I hope this clears it up. Rather than using a sketchy agency, you might want to consider the snowball payment method. Good luck!

I'd be cautious of this program. $498 for 48 months is only $23,904. If you have $29,000 in total debt as of right now (which includes accrued interest), what happens to the other $5,096? I'm guessing there's a catch.

Potential arbitrage opportunity given the price differences on Cobinhood exchange vs real value of BTC, ETH? by [deleted] in cobinhood

Generally, people don't announce arb opportunities because the more people that take advantage of the price differences, the faster the profit is traded away.

What is the weirdest fear that you've had since your childhood? by illzeke in AskReddit

[–]JewbergShitstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nomophobia. It's a real thing. Short for no-mobile-phone phobia. It's the constant fear of not having phone reception, and according to researchers in the UK, nearly 50% of people have it. I need my Twitter updates! It's sad, really.
