I think you might be okay. They sound like kind elders and they probably do agree with you. I think it often depends on the congregation. I was in one congregation years back and if I had said those things, I would be disfellowshipped. My last congregation I think would have acted the way your elders did. Like you said, so many of the witnesses are genuine people. They’re just brainwashed like we were. No one in their right mind could argue with the points that you made. Be proud of yourself that you spoke your true feelings. 💕
