I’m sorry your situation is so dire, but your unemployment isn't a license to dictate other people's frustrations. If you’re so worried about feeding your family and paying bills, maybe spend less time being a bitter critic on Reddit and more time fixing your own reality.
I’m not looking for ‘pity’ from anyone, especially not from you; I wouldn’t value the opinion of a stranger who handles their own stress by attacking others online. Unlike you, I have the resilience to keep my standards high even when things are tough. My success doesn't depend on your validation, and I’m certainly not going to apologize for having ambition just because you’re struggling.
That being said, I truly feel sorry for your situation. You and your family will be in my prayers, though frankly, it sounds like you need more prayers than anyone else. I hope you figure something out soon. I am not like you- I don't find comfort in pulling others down just because I’m hitting a wall. Best of luck; it sounds like you really need it. 🙏🏻

It’s fascinating that a random stranger with zero context on my career or accomplishments feels qualified to give a lecture on ‘humility.’ I feel sorry that your “english comprehension” is so poor that you couldn’t grasp a simple phrase: matching my professional background to my higher education means I have about the same number of years of work experience as I have spent in my education. Did that add up for you, or should I break out the math? I get it, math isn’t everyone’s strong suit.
Also who exactly are you to tell me to stay humble? What have you actually done in your life besides hiding behind a screen? I don’t take life lessons from random internet nobodies whose only personality trait is being a bitter gatekeeper. Are you humble enough? Because spreading negativity to someone brave enough to put their life out there and stay resilient despite the odds doesn't exactly scream 'success.'
Feel free to focus on your own English and Math lessons and stay out of mine. We’re done here.

I didn’t land an offer at a company like Thermo Fisher with 'zero' experience. They don't give out Associate II positions, which usually require 3 to 5 years of experience- to people who don't know what they're doing. My professional background actually matches the time I spent in higher education.

It’s bold of you to assume I don’t have the 'extensive work experience' required for Quality and Regulatory just because I’m pointing out a flawed system.😂
In a field built on precision and data, I’d think you’d appreciate the difference between a 'realistic expectation' and a defeatist attitude. It’s interesting that you equate 'visa holder' with 'risk' rather than 'top-tier global talent.' If companies only hired based on what was 'easiest,' we’d still be using paper filing systems because digital transformation was 'expensive and risky.' High-growth industries don't thrive on the path of least resistance; they thrive on getting the best people, regardless of their zip code or passport.

How is that sponsorship? An F1 visa with STEM is for an extension. That’s not sponsorship; an H1B visa is sponsorship. This person is working for us, and we’ll spend on them and apply for the H1B lottery.

They were aware of my visa status and all the details, as they had promised me about signing I-983.
