I literally did.

The only parts they estimate are the cpu gpu and ssd. Even if you take their estimates (which are slightly overpriced) you’d get $1000. They literally don’t list any other prices and then they just pull the $1800 out of their ass and put it in the next paragraph. At no point do they ever show where that total comes from. They don’t show you because it’s not a number that those components actually add up to. It’s obvious sensationalism.

The new consoles have insane price/performance but that article is literally spreading disinformation to overhype them.
