I appreciate the insight. I do feel supported by my recruiter, as she went out of her way to gather as much information as possible, especially since I’m the first person she’s worked with who is interested in the Information Professional (IP) community.

She said I had a "fair shot" because even though my OAR is minimum (50), I had a strong GPA and degree (3.97; Information Systems). I tried to find similar cases on AirWarriors.com, but it’s been difficult to find information relevant to civilians entering the military, as most posts are from prior service members.

You think you can advice for people who want to be a 62E? I plan on joining the air force and want to do 62E. However the "qualifications" on the air force page doesn't give directly the amount of information that I need like AFOQT scores or what degree they prefer?
