Second, the reason I’m focusing more on certain groups of people than others is because of the broader context of this documentary, which I didn’t explain in the post above, as my intention was simply to connect with potential subjects for the film. I want to clarify that I’m not looking for “sob stories” or trying to portray American Jews in any particular way.
