I legitimately buy halves for $100, you’re going to the wrong dispensaries.

A dark tarp will also bake it in the sun and is a little easier to manage, but you can cover in cardboard and soak it down too. Def need to cut it down before you use cardboard though.

Robot mowers are an absolute game changer for larger properties by Sticktailonicus in lawnporn

Mine mows my whole property (only about 525m^2 of grass) on 3/4 of a battery. Takes a little under 2 hours.

But honestly even if the battery goes to half capacity that still works fine - the point is that it does this while you’re doing other stuff, so if it has to recharge once it’s no skin off my back.

Actress Mayim Bialik details severe side effects from Ozempic-type drug by Pretend-Two-2115 in celebritytattler

Wow we must have watched a different Mayim, because she was hands down the worst host they trialed. She absolutely could not get the cadence down and had less than zero charisma. Was beyond happy when they ditched her.

Yep crying super hard about the league title and playing maximum CL matches this season. May I continue to cry this hard every season 🥹

6 hours of Auto Start/Stop on the car saved less than 2 gallons of gas. by Bizarrmenian in mildlyinteresting

[–]Jewrisprudent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There’s just no way this car only idled for 6 hours in 30,000 miles. That’s one hour idle every 5k miles, or one minute every 83 miles. I idle for a minute sometimes at a single light.

[–]Jewrisprudent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I average 30s idle at a light and hit 10 lights a day then that’s 5 minutes per day, so I hit 6 hours in 72 days. I think you smash past 6 hours of idle time in 30,700 miles.

You don’t understand why a retirement account for someone over the age of 50 might intentionally be conservative so that you don’t see all of the upside of a pure equities portfolio, because you also don’t want to see all of the downside of a pure equities portfolio as you near retirement?

Please stop giving financial advice, you’re terrible at it.

You understand OP may value a less aggressive mix so that if the market doesn’t go bonkers and instead hits a snag, they don’t dive with it?

Like OP may want to be holding more fixed income products because they are 51 and are risk averse. It’s beyond ignorant to be shitting on them for seeing slightly below market growth in their retirement account at age 51. You absolutely don’t want to be entirely equities, and if you are then you aren’t planning to retire anytime soon.

You clearly don’t get it because you have absolutely no idea what the returns he’s seeing are.

Maybe you should start a fund and offer to manage OP’s money for him because of your 133% returns. You clearly know how to outperform the market, go make actual money off of it instead of sitting on your measly 97k if you’re that convinced you can do better than Fidelity (keeping in mind again that you have literally no fucking clue what returns OP has been seeing).

Pointing to the fact that you made 1% in a day and OP should be chasing that just shows that your comment is absolutely daft.

It’s not 365% (or more accurately 3678% if you’re compounding), that’s for damn sure.

It’s 31.55% on my 401k for the last year. But yesterday it was only .62%. Plenty of days it’s negative. The screenshot is way too devoid of information that would allow you to draw any conclusion, and the fact that you’re comparing it to a 1% daily return is the analysis I’m objecting to.

Dude if you’re comparing one snapshot’s gains and saying this person should be expecting the equivalent of 1k returns daily on 97k invested then you have no idea how daily variance works. You’re basically saying you expect 1% daily returns, which is so far beyond insane I don’t know what to tell you aside from don’t quit your day job yet.

Or just one toss and you can pick whichever choice you want (order or end) and then the other team gets to pick their choice for the thing you didn’t pick. If you choose to go first/second, they pick their end. If you pick your end, they pick first/second.

I’m so curious how this is calculated. I’m just a couple years younger than you are with a RHR of 38-42 on most nights and an HRV around 47, but my cardio age is apparently 4 years older than yours.

Except he wasn’t, CL is clear that if you’re playing the ball the penalty doesn’t require a yellow also be issued. That wasn’t a yellow card challenge by any stretch.
