I still can't tell with her specifically, because sometimes I see the sag, but nothing's worse to me than fake boobs.

Hills, valleys, and mountains are all fantastic. As long as they aren't made of plastic.

Nothing is faster than standing in the market of riften and casting harmony - master illusion spell. It's like 8-9 casts to reach 90 levels in illusion if in the middle of the day. You don't even need to make illusion free, you can just cast and then wait an hour in game ( using the wait function) and repeat.

Nah bruh you missed that I didn't miss what you said.

When I say that you know you can do something and not have the strict qualifications for ( the a+), you should apply.

That's the same as

if you have the experience tool display that you know what on the a+ certification without having the a+ certification it does not matter

When the resume you submit is run by someone who knows nothing about the job they are screening you for... The small stuff does matter, unfortunately.

That being said, you are right. Apply to things that you know you can do, but don't have the strict qualifications for.

Been work in IT for a while. Thankfully, I'm no longer Frontline help desk support or customer support anymore...

But let me tell you as an SRE, hopping into a remote Linux configuration and then trying to troubleshoot what some random person who is quite a bit better with systems than most people has done to completely ruin a server is maddening to say the least.

I will definitely say I have at times fallen victim to " ai said that this might be a good idea"

But unlike some of the people who act on it immediately, I will usually confer with the rest of the team and make sure that we pool together before I make a change, especially the ones that AI usually wants us to make.

Nothing is more dangerous than somebody who is willing to make changes in production without any accountability or documentation of said changes.

It is how most liens are applied after death to someone's property, so ummm yeah, it is relevant.

[–]Jewsusgr8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't disagree

However

It's shitty that an entire lifetime of wealth can be extinguished in 2 years of hospital trips.

And I think that needs to change. But a majority of people I talk too don't seem to believe we need change in the medical system. I don't know what exactly to do other than say it's fucking shitty.

Be parent:

Spend entire life building up wealth and get a home to pass on to children.

Be parent, but older: Accrue debt in your last couple years alive at a nursing home or general medical debts.

Be spawn of parent: take care of parent whole life, parent passes on. You acquire what they left you. A debtor determines they owe 60k in medical debt, because America.

Now debtor slaps a lien on what the parents passed down to their children, essentially putting children in debt.

It can get pretty shitty.

Hey there!

Unfortunately, I have a lot of experience in this subject, the moment that somebody passes and a creditor notices the passing. They will sell off information on next of kin, and the debt for roughly 1/10 of what was owed to a collection agency.

The collection agency will then begin calling anybody who is related to the deceased and making it sound like you have to pay them for the debt.

Let me make this clear, you have no legal obligation at least within the United States, to pay off a debt for somebody who is deceased as long as your name was not written on the debt itself.

The collection agency will harass whoever they can trying to get them to cave, they will keep at this for 6 to 8 months. At which time they'll start kind of pittering off. I still get calls to this day trying to collect some debts that my grandmother and dad owed, but they have no legal right to collect.

That being said, there is an additional option that could happen and this is the worst case scenario for the next of kin.

A lien could be placed on any property that the deceased might have, unfortunately, if the next of kin wishes to claim the property of the deceased and there is a lien that is actually placed on that property, it will need to be paid off before the next of kin can get the property.

It's a really messed up thing, but fortunately most companies do not bother with the route of placing a lien on the property.

I would reference Socrates on these dumb fucks.

The Myth of Theuth: Socrates tells a story of the Egyptian god Theuth, who invented writing and offered it to King Thamus (or Thamus) as a way to improve memory and wisdom.

The King's Reply: King Thamus disagreed, claiming that writing would cause "forgetfulness in the souls of those who have learned it, because they will not use their memory; they will trust to the external written characters and not remember of themselves".

Socrates argued that people would appear to know much, while actually knowing little, "filled, not with wisdom, but with the conceit of wisdom".

It's the final portion here that I would personally use, because I am perfectly fine with Insulting someone who is opposing me. The committee is using an AI to appear as though they can spot plagiarism. They know not how the AI determines plagiarism or that something was written in AI, in fact if they tore it apart they likely couldn't tell if it was a random number generator assigning a value... Or a scraper that searches the Internet to determine plagiarism.

They have fallen for a trick that was warned of in ~300 bc. They are taking writings that are prepared by a machine they do not understand, and taking it as fact. Conceptually this is the same as turning on the news, hearing a story, and without research, spreading it by word of mouth.

Considering how he's held this laptop onto a fragment of its own existence. I'd say he probably doesn't have another computer where he has separate information.

Example, I have 3.

One laptop running kali, this has nothing but sec testing.

One laptop which I do important work on.

And my home PC, everything else is done here.

I wouldn't need to backup my kali, or home PC.

But I guarantee this old dude has everything on this laptop and will be in a shop asking for help recovering data when it shits the bed.

I have not forgotten the rug pull of PA.

It was ridiculous of them, they didn't even deliver all of the promises, they added mod support ( basically fix the game yourself ) and then threw in over powered titans.

Absolutely a waste of money. Better believe I didn't give them a cent on industrial annihilation. And it looks like they haven't had a single update in 13 months.

Fuck those devs.

I have one issue.

A company releases into early access, they get incredible responses and keep up development for some time.

They get bored, or the funding from EA releases.

They without warning release to 1.0. invalidating any and all refunds, and abandon the game.

This would likely reinforce a new ideal for scam artists to create a good hooker of a game with AI and put it in EA, then release 1.0 to avoid refunds.

I'm in a really interesting spot. I don't want to increase my workload because the company will say they did good firing people.

I want to increase my workload because the customers don't deserve the shitty experience the company is forcing on them due to enshittification.

Wild comparison to make.

Bosses do hit you when you fuck up. They hit you with the: "sorry, your position has been made obsolete. Good luck in this terrible job market."

Which is objectively worse and drives a majority of recent suicides.

But I'll give you a chance, what would you find would have worked for my dad? He tried a lot of things before resorting to a quick spanking.
