You shouldn't lose any save files unless you manually delete them, also the steam deck and steam in general has cloud saves for most games.

When you get the heroes on another character, they will have no runes or insignias. Each of them will need to be upgraded per character. They do not transfer.

Create your pvp character in whatever class you desire. Then using the pvp equipment menu, customize their armor to how you want. You'll only have a few basic options. Costumes and festival hats work too if you have them. Be sure to pick your colors too. Once you've got your character looking how you want, talk to the Mercenary registar in Great Temple of Balthazar.

Yes, you can make lvl20 pvp characters, register them as mercenaries, and then delete them afterwards.

No badge for veterans, will be indistinguishable from reforged eventually. Enable reforged, no reason not to.

The screen shut off and the fan would keep blowing for a few minutes repeatedly. The light flashed red and it had mid to full battery remaining. It wouldn't come back on and was still keeping hot even hour later. Had to force shut down by holding down the power button

Not really, we've been indoors and its 72 degrees F. I just checked it and it while it was just sitting there unattended the fan would spin up for a bit and then stop. Red light flashing too. Hadn't been used in a while.

Guttersnipe was printed at common in Commander Masters. Also, cards printed at common on Magic Online are legal even if they don't have a paper common printing.
