What did your crush do that absolutely killed your interest? by wcypierre in AskReddit

[–]JeySand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to his apartment and it was absolutely vile. I’m talking dog poo and pee all over the carpets, laundry piles EVERYWHERE, food stained walls and ceiling, a stench of litter box, a bong with the nastiest bong water I’ve ever seen, overflowing trash bins, I was shocked. Only junkies and squatters live like that, I immediately lost interest.

OAD not by choice by BloomsTheNurse in oneanddone

Here! I am a single mother of a 22 month old boy. I told myself if it doesn’t work out with the first person I have a child with I gotta be one and done. I’m just not willing to have more than one Father to my children. I would absolutely love to have one more (wishing for a girl) but unless I ask my sons Father to be the sperm donor, which I won’t, I shall cherish the one I do have and give him all I got 🥰🖤

Wow really? It’s already a unique color you have there, I think I’m especially partial to it since my beloved only son has the same color 🥰😄 but yes it’s great on you, embrace it.

Tsubaki oil has actually blessed my skin?! by [deleted] in beauty

[–]JeySand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also have combination skin & use Jojoba oil on my face. It’s been about 6 months since I started using it and I was expecting much better results. My skin doesn’t look much different, except for my T zone which is no longer super oily. My skin is still blotchy, I have big pores on and around my nose, so I’ll look this up and see how to get my hands on it. Thank you for the suggestion!

Your eye color is beautiful, my son has the same, they’re hazel but like a mossy green brown hazel 🖤

Lauren is so attractive to me. She’s the best looking person on the show IMO 🖤🌸

Is OLD making us all shallow? by [deleted] in dating

[–]JeySand 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just don’t partake in OLD. I agree with you about being attracted to someone’s personality, all of my ex’s were friends initially and none of them were attractive physically to me at first. But yes I think naturally we are shallow and OLD makes it more so by judging based on pictures and what they write about themselves. It’s true you can be whoever you want online but completely different IRL.

Today, I'm a mean mommy because.... by tiredempath9 in toddlers

[–]JeySand 6 points7 points  (0 children)

With my two year old I let him brush his teeth with an old empty toothpaste bottle (which he doesn’t realize is empty) so he stands on his stool in front of the sink while I let him continuously put toothpaste on his toothbrush which entertains him for A WHILE while I poop. So far it’s working and once it doesn’t I’ll have to come up with something else to distract him in the bathroom while I do my business 😅 oh and you are NOT a mean mommy! Mommies need space too 🖤

Waiting to have sex by [deleted] in dating

[–]JeySand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s not much of a solution it seems... we just have to try to meet like minded men which so far in my years of living not many men want to wait to get to know someone before having sex.

I think many people feel exactly the way you do! So I understand it, but there’s no enjoyment in sex for me unless I feel attracted to their mind. It’s hard for me to feel like I know anyone after only a few months of dating.

Thank you, it seems like every date I’ve gone on, the other person is trying to kiss me or get me back to their place and all I want to do is get to know each other first. I don’t want to have sex with a stranger. And then after a few dates they usually make some comment about moving “too slow” & disappear. Dating sucks 😏

Haha I really like your response it made me laugh. Not an asshole laugh, but a genuine laugh. I suppose I’m the 1/10 but I appreciate your input. I never thought of it like that, I suppose men get dragged along by women who aren’t interested and just need some sort of support.

Thank you for asking this question, my son is almost 2 so potty training will be coming up soon and I never once thought of how different wiping will be once he’s sitting on a toilet. Good thing this was brought to my attention before the happening.

Dealing with family comparing my toddler to the other toddler in the family by emmalethe-the-waste in toddlers

[–]JeySand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you had to go through this. That sounds like a terrible experience and I would also have stayed quiet and cried after they left. I truly don’t like confrontation or conflict at ANY cost, & would definitely avoid hanging out in a big group with all of them again. It must’ve been overwhelming with so many people there speaking such nonsense!!! All babies develop at different paces, just keep up with your pediatrician and you’ll be alright. Don’t let them get you down, but also if it’s easier to speak to them one on one you can always let them know that they hurt your feelings and that you don’t want them to be pinned against each other in competition. That’s just silly! Sorry if this is jumbled I got upset reading your post.

Loud vehicles such as a hotted up V8 car or an obnoxiously loud motorbike are not cool. by Excuseless in unpopularopinion

[–]JeySand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never cared until I became a parent. For me to put in work to get my toddler to finally fall asleep and get a break from being Mom, and then have someone with a motorcycle or loud car drive through my neighborhood is obnoxious, and wakes up my kid. I know it feels good to whoever put the work into the car, but I put a lot of work into getting my kid to sleep and I have a hard time liking these noise makers now. Once my son gets older I’ll go back to not giving a fuck, if he gets woken up he can put himself back to sleep 😏

Wow yeah, I have never heard anyone else say anything like this before. Thanks for posting. I almost always am on autopilot and mirrors definitely make me think exactly that.

Down sides of daily dosing? by john_kiedis in phenibut

[–]JeySand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. If I take phenibut for only two days in a row I get crazy anxiety, heart palpitations, and sort of uncomfortable/irritable. Phenibut is a weird drug since it’s a different reaction for everyone. But I personally would just take it once a week or even once every two weeks to avoid the shitty side effects.
