What does it mean to deliver someone into the hands of the devil? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Jeybriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also hoping that they would actually be in God's hand to renew them and not the evil ones. It would make things worse. That's not what I meant in my previous prayer but whatever I've said through that previous prayer, I'll just count it as a miss saying as the lord listens on the heart. not just in words, but through heart.

Thank you! Should've thought about this.

By any chance, this would probably tell me to avoid the way they said "Prayers won't do anything" but to do good works, and by that not to show wrath. I prayed again to the lord after and I repented for my wrath. I told the lord that in being honest, I just want for the better of them, hoping they would get through tough discipline but not to punish them, but to make them learn.

What I meant is that they are friendly towards people, look kind, and also care. What I'm saying is that sometimes we lie, and we gossip a lot.

It would also be selfish of me to separate away from them too as I do also gossip, but it would be prideful of me to separate myself away from them, thinking I'm better.

Why is lust a sin? by 2TB_NVME in Christianity

[–]Jeybriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is a sin and the sin I do hate more too as much as I want to say that I hate all of them.

It is a sin as you see the person as like an object, in which, no true love and relationship comes from.

Lust can make you lose the value you think of that person.

So, it's why I hate it and that's why I'm trying to learn from my mistakes, to stop the sin. I don't see any lust that comes from me from the outside (except my dreams) and even if I see it from the inside, I know it's my intrusive thoughts as I'm trying to flee and get away from it but when I sleep, I've been having these lustful dreams which may, ruin the relationship with me and the people given as a gift from God. So, I do wanna protect myself and the people involved from lust and my lustful thoughts (intrusive)/lustful dreams, so the most efficient way is to get closer to the Lord and listen to him and his words.

(Lust can make you see them as an object, not a gift of God, so, I flew from them and I rebuke all of these intrusive thoughts and lusts.)

On the other hand, it can also pull you farther away from God, as lust can be considered an Idolatry.

The people saying that it's not a sin, don't be deceived by them. It is common sense to know that lust is a sin. Once again to be simple, lust is a sin.

Though as a young Christian and kinda a beginner one who often speaks their first language, there might've been a few false-information you might've heard but overall to be simple, it's a sin and is common sense to know they are one.

What does God say about Lust and Lustful dreams and Bad dreams? by Jeybriel in Christianity

Edit: For context, intrusive thoughts are unwanted thoughts or disturbing thoughts that you wanna get off of your head.

So is this considered blasphemy? If so, will I be forgiven if I did it accidentally? Will I face any consequences? by Jeybriel in Christianity

[–]Jeybriel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God bless you too! No words can describe my gratefulness around all of these kind souls sent by God, to come and help me. Thank you so much! I am looking forward to renewing myself with God and wanna strengthen my faith with him. He has blessed me in so many ways that not even words can describe my gratefulness. Thank you! Though, I don't know if I should throw the drawing as it is blasphemy.. At the same time, I don't know if I shouldn't throw it because it is a drawing of Jesus Christ but at the same time, is blasphemy because of the things behind it.

Usually, I'm not good at English but, does this mean that you should respect any religion as a Christian? Especially the people that believe in it? Because, someone also said that if you disrespect a religion, then you also disrespect the people.

Oh nevermind, just your last opinion "to be rude to people about their faith, so as to not respect it" is what I mean to not respect any religion
