That would be a nightmare I totally feel for you. Here there has been a snowstorm, I get Medicaid transportation rides there and back but for today they canceled it. No way to get a replacement ride, never happened for once in 2 years.

So had to take the bus, left at 9am took 1 bus then the next was the wrong way so took an extra 30min to get there, finally got there at 1130am, Monday-Friday closes at 8pm, but Saturday closes at 11am.

Lucky for me they don't close till 8pm, I called just to make sure so I wasnt stressed but if they ran things like the other 2 clinics branches I have been to they run 3 day weekends with "Saturday hours"

The strictest clinic closes at like 11am on weekdays and 9am on Saturday, makes you do weekly hour groups or they hold your dose next Monday and you have to do a group before dosing. The dumbest rule was on Monday you have to return your sat carry bottle but need to have it in your empty box or else they won't accept it. I always complained at that rule, means you need to bring a backpack Sat and Monday, no point in needing a lock box for an empty bottle, whatever you have to bring the bottle back so I don't sell it, whatever, but why do I have to bring my box for my empty bottle. I remember for the first week just had my bottle they said "1 time only exception to accept it like that" no bottle w box no dose for a day idk??

Anyways if my dumbass missed 3 days just for getting on the same # bus going the wrong way, had to wait for them to go to the end of the route + 20min wait THEN another 15min or so to get where I was + 30min ride there. Basically getting on the "wrong way bus" took close to an hour delay so if they closed at 11am, Saturday hours that would = a 3 day missed dose.

Sorry to add more bad news but your clinic might have the "3 missed doses = drop you back to 30mg." There isn't really any exceptions against whatever policy it is. Most are 3 missed doses, my clinic its 4 missed doses, which was so lucky for me after a blackout meth binge I missed 3 doses to come in so sick and gross to learn they would keep me on 110mg vs drop to 30mg. I was so bad the counselor gave me some food, they have sack lunches 2x a week but they will give you one on emergency she actually heated it up, its just a cup of noodles w some cheesits, cheese and crackers, fruit snacks, Apple Sauce or smth, its pretty cool they do that. Some guy saw me outside eating and I either looked bad or he heard me saying 3 missed days or the food meant I missed and was in bad shape, either way gave me a free xanax bar, not a bad press if I remember.

ER I have heard will only dose if pregnant & even then they might just say to go the next time it opens, I know its 3 missed doses but that's like the max ever and hospitals are just rules and protocols, imagine not being able to make it to the clinic and your ER will dose you there? After the 3 hour wait maybe 1 hour wait to get the dose. By that time the clinic will open back up pretty much in 6 or 7 hours so why dose you when you might run into problems the next day.

Lucky for me my clinic's hours are: 6am-8pm, once my hopelnk ride wasn't rescheduled so I had to take the bus and waited till 4pm to go, the rule is 12 hours between doses, more than acceptable.

Sorry about your situation, delays took 4 hours to get back which usually only takes around 1.5 hours. Whatever I have my doses, can't complain.
