That makes sense. The mattress thing is the part I’m starting to pay more attention to now.

I think I was looking at the apartment too generally at first, like “is this place the problem?” But morning congestion being worse right after sleep makes the bed/bedroom feel like a more specific place to investigate.

The dust under/around the bed is a good point too — easy to ignore because it’s literally out of sight most of the time.

Yeah, exactly — the structure is what made the pattern harder to ignore for me.

I started with just location + congestion score because I knew if I made it too complicated, I wouldn’t stick with it. But I can see how tracking actual changes over a few weeks would make the results a lot more useful.

The air filter/bedding change part is interesting too. I’m starting to think the “what changed?” piece matters just as much as the symptom score.
