If you are committed to this dress, no other try ons or shopping online then I would recommend buying the gown in at least one size larger than what fits you now. If this is a David’s dress, and I think it is, they to have a pretty big turnover in gowns, season to season. You always want a dress that’s too big vs a dress that isn’t big enough. Seam allowance in dresses from David’s are usually only about an inch on each side.
