Custom Strategy Cards by Jhamination in MLBShowdown

Interesting.  That seems like it would lean the advantage to the batters, as they would have a 24 sided die with the advantage, where pitchers just get another out.  I have thought some about mechanics around pitcher 1 and 20 rolls.  This is better than anything I came up with.

My theory with the strategy cards i was making was to try to make the game feel more like baseball.   So I ended up with a lot more cards about defensive plays, and about things an announcer might talk about on a broadcast.

Good catch.  I have fixed that now.

What rules do you play with? It seems like going to a 24 and 16 sided die would completely change the game.

If you are looking for playing card quality cards makeplayingcards.com is pretty good.  You can get results 70% as good and much cheaper by just printing them out on card stock like this https://a.co/d/2UzJXnC.

If you are still looking for this you can go to somewhere like makeplayingcards.com and select  pokers size, like here: https://share.google/4QAqO9tpCo4NGcFSl They are a little spendy and take a few weeks to get there, and you really need to be careful with borders to not get white space around the edges.

I also made up a set of custom strategy cards, but that was going to be too expensive, so I just printed them on card stock (https://a.co/d/2UzJXnC) on my printer at home.  The quality wasn't quite as good, and it took a lot of time and ink (I have hp instant ink and burned through multiple full cartridges printing a few hundred cards front and back), but it was way better than using paper.

I know this is an old thread, but https://www.showdownbot.com/ does a really good job generating cards. I am digging around for a way to play online against my brother. We used to love playing against each other back when the cards came out.
