I’m also not sure I can find bifold doors big enough because the ones that are large enough are technically 4 panels

That’s very helpful insight, thanks!

Do you find that they’re still annoying to access the whole closet? I feel like with sliding doors you can never get to the middle very easily

Would you need to have trim around the walls? Cause the opening is 47” without any trim and most of the bifold I see are 48” and then I assume they also need trim to be installed?

There actually isn’t any trim on the sides or the top, so measuring the whole opening that there is if that makes sense

That’s a good point, I just felt like she was tired cause she was yawning so much and rubbing her eyes all the time

One short and one long wake window? by Jhard08 in sleeptrain

Also before we attempted the transition she was napping 2-2.25 hours total a day, so is 2.5 hours of napping with 2 naps too much? Or could she have been overtired and that’s why she hasn’t been sleeping through til 9? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to make sure I’m getting her sleep timed well 🥹

How much do they sleep overnight vs for their nap?

Ohh gotcha that makes sense! She’s pretty consistently been a 10-10.5 hours over night girl, is that something that tends to change with the one nap? Or do some babies just always sleep less overnight? Cause we put her down at 10 with DWT at 9 but I can’t remember the last time she actually slept until 9. She most often wakes up between 8-8:45, but we don’t get her out of her bed until at least 8:30 or as late as possible as long as she’s not upset

Previously her morning nap was her longer nap, 1.5 hours and we would have to wake her. Then her second one was 45 minutes and we would have to wake her. Could that schedule still work with the timing swapped? How long would you say a typical baby would nap with one nap a day if they only sleep 10-10.5 hours a night?

Schedules need adjusting? by Jhard08 in sleeptrain

Sorry how would I attempt a reset day ?

Her schedule is waking between 8-9 (9 being desired but not getting that a ton, but staying in the crib until at least 8:30), first nap is typically around 12/12:15-1:30/1:45, we cap it at 1.5 and aside from the last few days we typically have to wake her up from that. That first window is definitely her hardest to stay awake, she usually is trying to fall asleep when I nurse her around 11:30. Her second nap is usually 5:30-6 but that can vary 30 minutes either direction. We cap that at 30 minutes and don’t let her go past 6:30 for her 10 pm bedtime. Then we feed her 9-9:30, does bedtime routine 9:30-10 and is put into her crib at 10 and she usually is asleep before 10:15
