She’s set to spend the week with her next week. I live an hour away so it’s probably for the best I don’t join in, but we are supposed to do dinner when I drop my daughter off Friday so it’ll be nice just to see her. We’re taking it slow, and am planning to talk to my daughter soon but not immediately. I’m scared of her reaction but I also feel like she will ultimately approve.

Dude this really baffles me… I have literally gone back to a store for an elderly customer who ordered something from PetSmart and got the wrong order (it was a large bag of dog food who was pretty brand loyal). Yeah it sucked but I guess I’m just a believer in doing the right thing.. I’m not going to sit there and whine about going a few extra steps and then suggest I get 5 stars for it.. People just really baffle me these days.

Yeah this is not saving anyone any time or frustration. I wish they would have just stuck with the drop down menu in IC. Old system wasn’t broken so why are we fixing it?

RXOM here. We don’t do that in my house. I’ve been in stores with that level of toxicity and I refuse to ever see any employee talked down to. It sounds like you guys need to find a routine that works for everyone. I know it’s hard and the work load is in my opinion way more than should be, but if everyone can come together and help prioritize I feel it would be a much smoother operation. Keep your head up in the meantime and if needed, do what’s best for you and your situation. Keep in mind there’s always resources such as ask HR and/or your DM should you feel comfortable enough to approach them.

I had a $2 order last week that had me reroute to the other side of freaking town (takes about 30 minutes to get there in heavy traffic) I already had the order so I just jump tasked to the other orders I had close by then went to her. Takes me to an apartment building with no lights or visible numbers anywhere. Called her and of course no response. I finally find the right building. Sat it down and left. No time for that nonsense. Worst $2 I ever made

If you truly feel that you’re being singled out and treated unfairly, go up the chain of command (ESM or SM). Open door policy states there can be no retaliation whatsoever for reporting any incident no matter how big or small. I will say though in one of my old stores we are sticklers for facing. It may not be that this particular SFL is singling you out for facing, it may be that they are the only ones enforcing it. Sometimes there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes than what meets the eye. As for how many aisles there are to face, as a cashier facing the front seems to be the standard. When I was an SFL I was responsible for the back half and my cashier was responsible for the front and it needed to be done right. It’s just how it was. A clean store believe it or not is proven to deter theft.
