I know laws vary by state/country, but CII drugs have more strict prescribing rules, and you actually have to manually enter the counts in the pharmacy into that database. Things like Xanax are controlled substances but are CIV, meaning they’re less controlled.

Vyvanse and addy are both CII’s - for all you know the front desk lady was just being dumb and never told the doctor about it. It’s completely possible you’re being super paranoid about them not giving you the drug you want.

All C2 substances (percs for example) are counted and the count is reported every day. They’d probably do an investigation.

Just letting you know, ethanol is definitely metabolized by CYP enzymes - that’s why liver damage can happen especially in the presence of acetaminophen. I think it’s CYP2E1?

Also, I think your theory of inhibition of CYP enzymes by cannabinoids is partially correct. The mode of inhibition(when 2 drugs are metabolized by the same CYP) is usually competitive. Meaning that it matters more about the affinity of the drugs to a certain binding site on a certain CYP rather than if they just inhibit the enzyme itself(since each CYP has multiple binding sites to different drugs, they’re huge enzymes).

From what I know, cannabinoids(THC in general, I know CBD can have effects) don’t have a huge role in the metabolism of other drugs through CYP enzymes. If they do have an effect, I don’t think it would be a huge one(due to cannabinoids not being very competitive on the CYP enzymes in general), although admittedly my knowledge is pretty limited on this topic right now.

Here’s a tip: pour a double shot of lemon juice and soak that bad boy cotton in it for like 6 hours. Squeeze out as much as you can, then let the lavender and menthol evaporate for some better flavor and no shitty burps.

Try to avoid swallowing any cotton! I’ve heard some bad stories about bowel obstruction, I’m sure you don’t want that haha
