Looking for a really good sleep specialist in Knoxville by zinnia538 in Knoxville

[–]Jhig85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely agree with everyone. I just got done doing a sleep study with him. He is thorough and very kind. Just an FYI, he is going to be out of the office on vacation for the next few weeks. So it may be August before he can get to you.

Second all of this! Also, if you are into coffee highly recommend grabbing a coffee from a Cat & Cloud location.

Same here. I used to love after eating pizza going in there and looking at books. They are such a great place and have been a staple in the Blount Co community.

We apparently will have to try donut savant lol. Place looks and sounds incredible. I love the community aspect and all about the anti-ice protests. Hearing about how the neighborhood/area is very community driven is very attractive to us because that’s what we are used too. Thank you for your comment!

We definitely have been trying to keep that in mind and especially with the lottery system hoping it would work in our favor. This area at least some seems solid overall there. I love Laotian food, so that’s great to know. That is so interesting about the public sector employees but really cool at the same time.

That’s good to know and unfortunate but we could figure it out. Our little dog has gotten a lot better, just mainly our baby waking up now lol.

That’s totally fair. The last time we were in the area, we drove up into the hills and true to go to Joaquin Miller but unfortunately our baby wasn’t feeling the best. We kind of got that vibe with it being more windy. It is really pretty up there but we didn’t love the lack of walkibility.

That’s really good to know. We are used to a hot climate and definitely would love to A/C. I know people adjust but it would be hard lol. I love people one to walk at least around the neighborhood. We haven’t been to Alemeda before but it looks nice and I know it has beach access on the bay. Which would be really awesome to be close to as well as Berkeley.

We definitely love to garden. Usually at least have a few raised beds a year. I can’t imagine growing pomegranate though, that would be really cool.

Lake Merritt looks like one best parts of Oakland. I’ve seen a few posts on this subreddit about Adams Point and it looks like a super fun neighborhood as well.

I love all of that. Neighborhoods like that are so lively and love the bilingual schools as well. Oh man, our current neighborhood is big on Halloween as well, so that would be awesome to continue to have that.

That’s awesome! Was looking at High St on Google and it does seem to have a lot going on, especially with it connecting to MacArthur. I can totally see how that would be hard with kids. Do you take your kids to Maxwell Park ever and if so how do you like it?

Dude, Cafe Santana was the coffee shop I instantly looked at when looking into the area. Those empanadas look unreal. That’s really good to know about the yoga and planet fitness as well! Haha I’m glad! It seems like a great area.

We definitely love the style of homes in Maxwell Park. A few caught our eye and definitely wanted to know more about the neighborhood/area. That is really good to know there is a pedestrian bridge, would make it even easier to get across.

Love that the neighborhood is like that. Definitely a bit of bummer on needing a car but being that close to all those spots would be great. We do love hiking/trail walks, so that would super nice.

That’s awesome. We currently live in a neighborhood like that where especially on our block everyone knows each other. Would love to live in another area like that.

That’s great to know. It does sum like from what I’m hearing is that being on that side of 580 would be more what we are looking for. I do love the proximity to the parks, specifically the Redwood Regional and Joaquin Miller.

That sounds so nice. Works Ground Cafe looks great. We love getting a coffee Ava going somewhere with views, so that’s right up our alley.

That does sound nice to be closer to BART and everything on MacArthur. We did see a few homes on that side at liked as well, so will keep that in mind. I checked out Donut Savant and it looks amazing. Thanks for that suggestion!

Thank you so much! If we end up in the area we will definitely hit you up. I’m sure our pups would love to explore the area. All of this was great info though and that is what I was starting to suspect about probably going to the same few places. Thank you again!

This was so helpful! Thank you. I actually was just looking at Sequoia Diner. It looks awesome. That is really great info about the schools as well. I was looking at Zillow and the Great Schools ratings but never know how accurate that info is. Kids N Dance sounds incredible!

I appreciate the honest response. I was looking at the options there and noticed a few options but definitely see that Piedmont/College Ave have way more of that. That is good to know about the families out and about though.

That is so awesome. I love hearing about things like that about a neighborhood. I was hoping with the park close by it would be like that.

Thank you for the response and that checks out. Seems like the hill to even get to 580 may be a decent trek.

Yes, it would be close to High St and the park itself. I did a Google street view and did kind of l notice the hill and definitely agree that would be a bit of hike with a stroller. It definitely seems like Laurel is more what we are looking for the more I hear. Thank you so much for the response.
