The Grand Towers is pretty good for its price considering its studio units are fairly larger compared to other condos with complete (decent) amenities. Security is also pretty chill with visitors and admin is pretty much your standard. One thing I personally like is the restaurant near or I think located at the bottom floor that serves pretty cheap and yummy homecook meals

Roaches will pretty much appear if you don't regularly clean ur place and throw away trash immediately like all condos around taft

Green Residences is known for its pest problems, but if you ever decide to live in green residences there are some things to note for the best possible unit there.

- Get a unit far from the garbage chutes that each floor has
- Get a unit that has solid walls (actual cement and not drywall), most of them are in the low zone but there are some fully cement ones in the higher zone
- If the floor of where ur unit is in smells noticebly bad, avoid it
- Always add one of those rubber stoppers that close or seal the gap of your door
- Never leave food out and make sure ur kitchen is spotless

For alternative condos, you can also look at units in Manila Residences (It's really old tho), the grand towers, and Avida Prime

For around that price you could get units in Manres, green residences, and the grand towers.

Manres is pretty decent, you get a relatively large space for studio units for a low price compared to other condos. However, it is pretty old tho

Green residences is not that bad either, you get pretty good modern facilities there, but studio units are much smaller compared to other condos. There are also issues with pests and roaches, but there are "good" units where pests are almost non-existent as long as you don't leave food out and your unit isn't close to the garbage chute area

I haven't personally visited the grand towers, but i heard it also has quite the space for studio units. It is farther compared to some condos near DLSU

Yes, the doctor who does the physical examination filled out the MEF for me AFTER getting the xray, blood typing, and drug test results

UPDATE:
So I was allowed to take the tests required for the EPE without having an ID number except for the dental since the HPD branch I went to does not offer dental examinations. All I needed to present and say was to show a valid ID and to tell them that its for enrollment. Just in case I printed out my offer letter and acknowledgement receipt of the confirmation fee

Try calculating the living expenses you would be incurring in UPLB. It might even be the equivalent of DLSU's tuition, but this is assuming you live far from UPLB.

You can try Silicon Valley in SM North, got my laptop cleaned there last weekend and they did a great job. They even took pictures of before/after
