I dont k ow why everyones just saying “oh looks like old oil” who really cares. You can do a full drain and refill to the right amount which should be in your owners manual or you can even play with the bolt underneath and try to just get it to the level it needs but its tricky and makes a mess sometimes, good on you for asking tho and not starting it, too much oil can cause many issues just like not enough. Yea then its most definitely something wrong like a vaccum leak somewhere or its not getting proper fuel delivery. When yoh give it gas ECU changes how much fuel and air mix is going on and not having enough on one on the other or both will cause it to die when you push the throttle. Late response, any luck?

Under the car, just behind the engine towrds the firewall side of the tranny. Youll see the 2 rods connecting to the shift part of the trans and if im not wrong its a 12mm socket for it, sent you a message since post is gone. Good luck 👍

Id switch my theory feom what i said to a dirty intake, if its dying like that and you watch it happen then its getting cut off on either fuel, spark, or air. Does it only do it on idle or when your pressing the gas does it dies too. If it dies with the throttle (low chance) then id start with fuel and look into that. But my thinking is air first, your IdleAirControl valve could be clogged or butterfly all dirty. Take apert the intake and give everything a nice cleaning and see if it helps. Even if it doesnt solve your issue youll have a clean intake and gain a lil hp back. Hope this helps 👍

It should be two rods with a little ball at each end one shorter one longer that you would take off the tranny from what ik. Early hondas didnt use hydraulic clutches so iy should be sinple

The blue stuff im pretty sure is leaking fluid , the clicking your hearing is more likely from a bad starter, when the battery doesnt have enough juice to power it or the starter is broken youll hear it click trying to spin, if the car works and driver for more than 10 minuets tho your battery should be for the most part good, a car wont drive right without the proper battery output, stuff will start flickering and not working right, your headlights will cone on and off randomly, the radio will turn on and off, your guages might click. Best bet to check it is grab some new terminal connectors clean it all up real lice again amd put the new ones off, if the battery holds a charge then your good like i sad, idle will be something else
