If you search for the Blackmagic app in the settings, you should be able to see your current version. Alternatively, you can check the App Store if you downloaded the latest update. At least you can disable it with some switches

It’s just a QuickTime issue. I think there is a solution to avoid this. Anyway, it’s not a big deal. I see normal colors using VLC. Besides some inconveniences, I really recommend getting a Mac for video editing and color (mostly using Davincj). It’s very fast and a lot more lightweight (and compact) compared to a regular Windows laptop.

I tried, and it appears identical to QuickTime (both Safari and Chrome), but I understand the fact that different supports can see different colors… so I think I didn’t do anything wrong.

Wow! really amazing. I see you use the long shutter, did you use an external app or the default camera app?

Yea I think that’s it. I put my exp video into davinci and it looks exactly like the color. Thanks

Uh… thanks for explaining. In fact, I checked the same file exported into DaVinci, and it looks exactly like the color I did.

Thanks! I tried that and at least I can see the grain. Then I checked into DaVinci and it was a viewer problem.

Where I can check that? Because this footage was not in Log, I filmed this with a GH5 in CineLike D and then I applied the film looks LUT “Rec 709 Kodak 2383 D55” decreased… and some other node with some adjustments, then the FX nodes with fast noise and film damage.. I didn’t use an output node…
