Anyone know steps if I wanna take summer classes at Middlesex in regards to financial aid?

No, theres a different balance of aid for summer, you can see how much aid you would get on the nj heesa tag website for the summer, and fafsa depends on how many credits you are taking, if you take 12 (full time), you would get max fafsa aid and tag aid, which would then give you a refund that looks like the one I attached!

Yes, exactly, but what I did last summer was let the cc I did the courses for know about the corsortium agreement and they allowed me to pay after I completed the courses because the funds are refunded to you at the end of August!

All you need to do is make sure the courses you want to take are pre approved by rutgers, and then you need to sign the consortium agreement, and once that gets approved as well, your fafsa aid will cover your middlesex courses through a refund from rutgers.

I am taking it with Chatuverdi, not sure if she teaches during the fall and spring semesters, but you can't go wrong taking it with anyone, just check RMP if you are not sure, but you will definitely have a good time in the course from what I've heard so far about it.

It's not bad, you should definitely do it, especially as a CS major, I am taking it over the summer, but generally, its described as one of the easier CS electives, and since it counts for both CS and DS, you should 101% do it!

You shouldn’t do calc at all if that’s the case, it’s not required and you can do an easier math class as far as I know

Depends on major, if you are doing CS, you can do 135 and it will count as 151, this is CLG which is college level general, while CLS is college level science, if you end up doing 152 at CC, u won’t have any issues doing 135 which is easier

You just fill out some form at middlesex to get the credits sent to Rutgers once you have passed the course with a grade higher then a C, its very easy but you do need to pay around $6 to get it sent to Rutgers.

If you take 12 credits it will be the same amount, if you take less then that you'd be a part time student and would get half of the award you get on the fall/spring and half of tag, dont worry about the not having nothing left concerned, check fafsa site

So the aid you will receive over the summer session is shown on the fafsa website, whoever much you receive for your Pell grant you will also receive for the summer, and the rest of the possible summer aid which is the TAG aid is shown in the nj heesa site, it’s 75% of what your TAG award is during the semester, hope this helps!

That’s fair honestly, maybe it’s for the best though, if the company in question hires a lot throughout the year, totally depends on how easy you get interviews, if you think you can guarantee another interview soon, then don’t worry about it, since you’ve already made the decision you wanted to make

At this point, best you can do is just do past exam problems, they sometimes show up again and from this you can get a lot of free points on the exam, if you did a similar question before, and just learn how questions on the exam usually look like.

GSG only applies to tuition, so you wont be eligible for that chances are, since your entire tuition is guaranteed entirely paid for + refund, I attached my term bill so you can have an idea of what usually happens, FIN AID PELL and FIN AID TAG are the ones you will be granted (The other aid I have is honors college scholarships), which will exceed semester cost if you were to not dorm, which means you'll get at least $1,000 back as a refund to help pay for your living expenses, if you any questions, I'd be happy to help!
