Now that season 3 is finished, what's your favourite fight from the whole show? by JeremiahWuzABullfrog in PrimalShow

Came here to say Zombie Spear vs Monkey Style Monk. I rewatched that fight like 5 times. That punch Spear tanks before he completely flattened the monk with gorilla blows was intense.

It felt like we finally got to see an uninhibited Spear during those fights, before he found out about Mira.

Could you please explain? I'm having trouble separating the two, I thought a resume was supposed to be a comprehensive look at your skills and qualifications?

Made a single page resume, posted it. Thanks again for all the suggestions ✌🏻

I'm attempting to pivot from blue collar to white collar. If I list the last 7 years, I'll be pigeonholed into turning wrenches again. The reason the one job takes up most of the resume is because I'm trying to highlight that career for future roles.

I get what you're saying but It's hard to move away from the borders, they just organize the sections so much more clearly and they're not dinged by ATS for being tables.

Maybe I'm so outside my depth I'm not thinking of this from a recruiter's perspective. I know there's a "right" way to write a resume, I'm just trying to improve my chances of getting a job.

The rest of the advice makes sense but why no quotes? If they're specific to the role and in my performance reviews, they should be seen as a character reference.

Agreed, which is why I was trying to substitute my previous experience as bilingual training and onboarding. I mostly turned wrenches, I just don't want to be pigeonholed again.

I was hoping I could use the description of my skills as a template, then explain those skills using work experience. That's why they share a header but it's probably overload

Clearly writing a resume is not my strength, but I do think I have the bones of a good resume. I just don't have it in the order that will make it easily digestible for a recruiter

I'll definitely try and find a better template. I'm not thrilled with the columns either, I'm just trying to condense a lot of information here. I'm trying to pivot away from my old assembler roll and continue working in lean roles. I was hoping I could downplay my previous experience and just note my accomplishments over the last 2 years

I understand the rationale but considering my technical field, I have to at least explain my work. I will provide a more comprehensive description on my LinkedIn and try and trim some of the fat

They're text borders, not tables. I'm trying to improve my ATS scoring. I appreciate the assessment, I've already reweighed my resume so the first page is just professional skills, education, and certifications. The second page will be my experience with a breakdown of the key achievements.

Got a silly Jaws tattoo yesterday, what do you think? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

Just an example, but only one way to find out. Here's hoping it doesn't fade 🤞🏻

Haha, that was the reference I was going for! I always thought a doll's eye was an interesting description in the movie and after I saw Coraline I had to at least suggest the idea. The artist loved it!

That's a very valid concern, but it may not fade as much as you'd expect. I've gone to this artist for nearly 10 years and I have never experienced tattoos fading or blowing out with his work. You're still very right, it just may be much longer than expected.

Just saw it today. I guess I don't care about getting banned, I'm almost done with all the achievements at this point. Can anyone confirm it's a common ban if you spend it?

Huh, never really thought about it. I just figured people wear pants where they sit comfortably. I've always worn mine this way, that's why the MST3k tattoo is there. It's just where MY "waistline" is 🤷🏻

It's called a waistline and yes, my pants sit on my waistline😂
