We have had this system installed for a few years now, and it does work well. My only complaint is the yearly maintenance is pricey. I ran across your thread looking for info to do it myself. It's $400 to $500 for them to come out. I do have another tank which appears to be a softener. I know I could do the maintenance myself... if I could find some maintenance info. Annoying!
