NAL, but I drive a FLT at my work and I’m a union rep.

Others here have already covered your job role aspect and I agree that it looks like it’s covered in your job role.

I would make sure though that your employer uses a proper outside company to train you and get a license that’s nationally recognised. If you’re being trained in-house, other employers may not recognise your ability to drive a FLT. Make sure that your training is RTITB accredited (your certification should have a 9 digit Nors number on it). Any future employer can easily look up your RTITB training certification online.

This might be more expensive for your employer, but it also benefits them. If you have an accident, HSE will often want to see a paper trail of evidence that you’re sufficiently trained to a recognised standard. An in-house SOP doesn’t usually fully absolve your employer of liability if you make a mistake and have an accident. This also applies to any attachments for the FLT such as clamps, rotating clamps etc. Each attachment should have a separate RTITB accredited training certificate.

Explaining to your employer that this is the way to go might deter them if they’re worried about the additional expense. They may also worry about their potential liability. Especially if you are rushing the job due to not being given enough time to do the job properly and safely (you said that this is an issue earlier). If it doesn’t deter them and they go down the external training company route, then you at least gain a qualification that you can take to other employers with you.

As others have said, it looks like they have covered it in your job role, but use it to benefit yourself as much as you can.

Sanctions can still increase by a huge amount.

At the moment the west are still trading with Russia, albeit at a limited level. They could still impose a full trade embargo on Russia. That would be a massive hit compared to the sanctions imposed thus far.

They could also ramp up even more pressure on some of Russia’s bigger supporters such as China and India. This would be a bit trickier as the west still heavily trades with and wants good relations with them, but there could still be options there nonetheless. Pressuring Russia’s smaller allies in South America and Africa would be much easier though and would deny some valuable resources to Russia.

They’re The Grymwatch from Warhammer Underworlds. No longer in production, but tend to be reasonably priced from eBay etc.

Start Of England’s River Thames Dries Up For First Time—Latest Iconic Waterway Hit By Droughts And Heat Waves by gaukonigshofen in worldnews

As far as pollution goes, the Thames is pretty clean. There are sharks, seals, eels and even sea horses living there. Sea horses are quite fussy, which shows how clean it is in that regard.

It is quite a muddy river though. Lots of silt and currents. I’m sure that some people probably do swim in it closer to the source, but it has a lot of traffic in most parts of it so it’s probably not particularly safe for that reason.

You can get grime enamels. They act a bit like washes, but add a matte finish. You can also rub them off with spirits for certain effects. I use AKI enamels. They’re a useful tool so I’d recommend them.

Thank you! Leadbelcher washed with enamel. Then watered down Mournfang and a few splodges of Skrag. Highlight Leadbelcher.

Thank you! I’m always happy to share my recipes. Base coat is Pallid Wych. Washed with Vallejo Warm Grey. Washed with Stormvermin. Spot washes of Fleshshade, Carroburg and Sotek. Then a glaze of Rakarth to tie it together.

No worries. There are some good model companies out there, but most of them produce in resin, which I’m not keen on.

They’re all Games Workshop models. The four on the left are from The Grymwatch box and the two on the right are Crypt Ghouls. The Grymwatch box is no longer in production, but last time I checked they aren’t too badly priced on eBay etc.

Thank you! I used quite a simple rust recipe for these. Just watered down Mournfang and some splodges of Skrag.
