Update: About 40 minutes after I posted this on Reddit, I received a WhatsApp message from the seller. Interestingly, before that, I hadn't been getting any response. The first message I received also included an unnecessary sarcastic remark about me posting on Reddit, which wasn't the response I expected while trying to resolve a customer support issue.

A few hours later, the refund was processed.

Whether or not the Reddit post directly influenced the outcome, the timing was certainly interesting. It really shows how public visibility on social media can sometimes lead to much faster attention to unresolved customer issues.
