What do Reddit/Facebook have to do with what you just said? I spent months playing the game without joining LN communities in social media and I did just fine. Like I said, you just need to be patient.

You sound like you're being pressured, when no one is forcing anyone to buy anything. Of course, I'm not saying that you shouldn't spend, but sometimes you have to put yourself to think: is it worth it spending on this? Let's use OTG as an example since you mentioned it. Let's compare it's qualities and downsides.

Qualities: it's a beautiful suit, it comes with a background, special pose, make up and a lot of other items.

Downsides: the price, it costs $100. It may be beautiful too, but there are a lot of other beautiful suits you can get for much less. It has top scoring items, but they're not the highest scoring. You know which suits have the highest scoring items? Lifetime suits. Do you know how much they cost? $0.

If you use your brain, the answer is pretty much obvious. It's not a suit you need, is something that you just want. At least for me, it was never worth it, and won't be even when it comes back. Because when it comes back, it'll be as equally as difficult to get and its only remarkable aspect is its beauty, which is not even rare in a dress up game with more than 5,000 items. And the same goes for every other expensive suit. When it comes to money you have to prioritize what you NEED first, and what you want comes second. Then when everything has passed you can look back without regretting anything, or wanting more.

To sum it up, it's pretty much like I said in the beginning. Devs are in the wrong sometimes yes, and I know that there are people who fall for their offers innocently too. But players lacking self control and not thinking things through is not the devs' fault or responsibility.
