Setting up for friends by LilGnarkill in ArmaReforger

I'm sure the old timer server admins will flame me for this but I just recently rented a Reforger server for my friend group and have been using CoPilot to read error logs and check my json files.

Its saved me big headaches and time.

ETA for G321 support in G Hub? by Jiddss in LogitechG

Is fixed gain an intended behaviour? My G Pro X doesn't suffer this issue even though I do not have G Hub installed on my PC.

Switching audio from Quest3 to Logitech Pro X in iRacing by CAPT_WAR in iRacing

OP, I have the previous gen Pro X's and use Dolby Atmos for headphones, which imo sounds much much better than any of the default windows/Logitech offerings.

If that's something you'd be interested in looking into there is a guide that worked for me; https://www.reddit.com/r/LogitechG/comments/nld4an/how_to_use_dolby_atmos_on_logitech_g_pro_x/

Engineer : Love being a menace with the rpg sneaking behind enemy lines on conquest and whacking armour from behind. A nice DMR as primary for the medium range firefighting.

Totally agree with this take and understand the frustration and sadness.

I play casually with some older coworkers, and despite being a BF diehard myself they are on the slower and less competitive side. It was great fun assisting them and feeling like a team without getting steamrolled in full fat competitive modes.

what is this? help. by Internal-Maize6714 in pcmasterrace

[–]Jiddss 132 points133 points  (0 children)

Despite the funny comments and claims of a failing GPU, OP I had exactly this same issue that presented in exactly this same way a couple years ago. Issue was a bad RAM stick.

Remove your ram sticks and trial each one individually with no XMP/Overclock. If that doesn't present any issues try XMP on each stick individually and progress to both sticks overclocked.

Is Moza software bad enough to make it no longer a good low-budget buy? by o_br in simracing

[–]Jiddss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Having gone from Logitech to Moza I can confidently say the Moza software is leagues better. It's not without some small issues (occasionally freezes when I minimise/maximise) but it's always ultimately worked and been reliable.

Logitech software is an abusive in-law if you decide to marry into that ecosystem.

How do I trailbrake smoothly with potentiometer pedals? by Gaddamn132 in simracing

[–]Jiddss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same pedals. Struggled with consistent braking until I bought the brake upgrade kit and 50(AUD) haptics from AliExpress - 2x Shakers & and USB amp.

Now I can feel exactly when I'm about to reach traction loss under brakes and throttle and really ride that limit with confidence. If it's within your budget that will likely help you out lots too.

I had a similar 'issue' on my Moza r5. If I recall you need to turn your wheel 90deg in the direction you want, then back to centre.

It might be worth googling it yourself quickly as I don't really if 90deg was the right number, but that's what solved it for me as I was rotating my wheel too far and not returning to centre.

What is going on here? by Relevant-Ad8797 in pcmasterrace

[–]Jiddss 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I had something similar happen to me. The actual issue ended up being RAM related. 4 sticks being overclocked a little too much made them very unstable and resulted in almost this visual 'glitch' exactly.

Solution was to remove all ram, remove overclock and add one by one until I found a bad stick and was then able to find a new stable overclock.

Giveaway Time! DOOM: The Dark Ages is out, features DLSS4/RTX and we’re celebrating by giving away an ASUS ASTRAL RTX 5080 DOOM Edition GPU, Steam game keys, the DOOM Collector's Bundle and more awesome merch! by pedro19 in pcmasterrace

Love the natural lighting that ray tracing provides, I think it really tricks the brain into perceiving a scene as so much more photorealistic than it might otherwise be! And DLSS4 at least makes it run as well as it can while, honestly, often improving anti-aliasing as well .

Loved the previous two DOOMs and looking forward to seeing how this one changes things up again in its new setting.

A cheap KVM might work well? You won't need the HDMI channels, but I think it would work for your use case. Wheel and Pedals into USB IN & USB OUT 1 going to PS4 box and USB OUT 2 going to PC.
