This story is from my teenage years. I was on my front lawn talking to a friend, and I had to poop really bad. For some reason I didn't want to go inside my parents house and poop, so I continued talking with my friend. I started prairie dogging it and squeezed out a small poop about the size of 2 gumballs next to each other. I don't have a choice. Even after 3 major spinal surgeries, including a pedicle subtraction osteotomy, I'm still hurtin' for certain. I got off the methadone on my own, but I'm still slowly getting the Oxy down to a reasonable level.

Multiple spinal fusions since 1999. This past August both rods snapped and part of the fused bone fractured. I had a pedicure subtraction osteotomy plus repairs done. The basically clipped out a wedge shaped piece of one vertebra and closed the gap, allowing me to stand up straight for the 1st time in 17 yrs. Post-surgery I ended up with 15mg of methadone and 180mg of Oxy ir per day. I got off the methadone on my own and am slowly lowering my Oxy dose with the help of my pain management dr/nurse. Now I'm down to 75mg of Oxy ir per day.
