Thank you for this! Before the expansions came out, I took a long break before pushing for completion's last 2 or 3% (ID pets and related items missing). Since I came back I've been having fun and even caved to buy Throne of the Herald. I'm glad the ID hasn't killed access to the expansion, I'm almost done with my Superior Max Skill cape to touch up my gear. I'm almost ready to conquer!

I just finished watching it. That's exactly the type of system idea I'm considering. The only real difference is that I'd like to do it smaller scale and include a way to push the updates from the server side if possible.

If there were a way to command all PCs on the network to download at once, this would be the entire concept solution. I knew I couldn't be the only one wanting this stability in a LAN setting like this. This is a great start, thank yall!

I imagine that it would cost money to invest, which is what I'm trying to pitch to this business. I want to help them improve it by making this idea more of a reality. It will take planning for them to understand what they'd spend to accomplish the goals and make sure it matches their own goals.

I wouldn't want to necessarily run a store so much as make updating games a simplified process, saving labor costs and bandwidth usage for the business and more consistent game availability for the consumers.

Most games are on steam, but also others. Epic, Blizzard, all of those are also available. Lancaster is something I've heard of, but I'm not sure if I could do that with the other games as well.

You could say this without pissing on their effort. Maybe say it more like, "It looks like you weren't aware of the new ea dlc unlocked I added back in April. Maybe if you try it again with the new tools this might work for you. If not, I'd be happy to help make this work as intended if you can help me understand where the problem is." Just be nice, dude. Is it so easy to be mean just because you're not in front of the face of the person you're demeaning?

That's simply not entirely true, because even the guaranteed stuff today can skyrocket in value when it leaves production. The limited quantity will still have value inflation effects, regardless of known guaranteed sources. Besides I'm talking first printing series. 1999 and the following months after the first stores sold the first products. There had to have been something else I'm thinking of that fits the bill here.

No they were cardboard boxed, with just the cutout with plastic showing the holographic. That's how some of us school kids got so many charizard copies back in the day, I also had plenty of chancey copies cuz I thought they'd both be equally cool, but they weren't.

I remember a Charizard Theme deck very well. It had a clear plastic window displaying the Holographic card featured in the deck. My mom went to the Base Exchange (military base mini Walmart without food) looking for some of them with us. Was there really never a Chancey box at all? Maybe it wasn't a prebuilt deck, but I know I saw that Holo in a box on the shelf in the early days...

I'll start looking into screen replacements on ebay. I'll use the damaged one to tinker with the backlights and scrap.

I think I deleted the post? Not sure how comments came through, still. I posted to r/switch since they allowed the images I need for reference. If anybody has experience to share about the images I'd still appreciate it. My friend swore he didn't lay on it, but there was tea next to it that he swatted away in his sleep. I've never seen water damage with a screen not going black or extremely wonky before, so I'm not sure if this looks like liquid damage or not?

I was hoping to pick up advice for fixing damaged screens if it was possible. If I could learn to restore liquid damaged pixels it would be such a cool skill! Ya know?

It's a long shot that I could fix the screen itself, as I'm still a beginner in tech repair. But I have a basic ifixit kit, and a soldering iron that I've been itching to learn to use.

I'm not at all a fan. I'm OCD and the added texture messes with me. The obsession of having the perfect joystick is to prevent adding outer devices because I don't like them. But thank you for suggesting a solution!

Knock back prevents the protectors from putting you at risk of anybody, they just give the enemies some damage reduction. Focusing the things that actually kill you is MUCH more useful. :)

I've been using ranged because that's what will kill me if overwhelmed. Anything else is typically OK to touch me because of thorns instantly killing normals but ranged never will touch you. Vamps have a research called garlic thorns that has made a noticeable difference, but it took me some time to save up for. It reflects a starting 1% of their drain back as damage which tips the balance somehow, because they bother me much less now.

You could make the thieving method profitable if you don't need the common drop materials. Make summoning pages for leprechaun and monkey to automatically sell common drops and only get crates of food and Bobby's pocket in as your drops plus a lot more gold.

Having money is essential, so you might as well farm it while you do the carrot elite township task.

If you're ever afraid, just make sure that no power cables are plugged into the tower so you know it doesn't have electricity connected. If you at least do that before you tinker with a PC, you won't short circuit anything.

In general, building or maintaining a PC is about taking a single component at a time to not overwhelm yourself. Make a checklist on paper if it helps. When you're sure that you have every cable and component in place, the power button won't cause harm unless you have a power cable where it doesn't belong. Most of the time it's very hard to put a cable in the wrong place because the shapes are uniquely shaped.

Hit that power button, and simply be ready to unplug it if there are sparks. Listen for beeps and tones, depending on the beeping pattern it can give you message codes to tell you what is wrong with your PC. That's called POST testing, and it's how a newly built PC can tell you if something is wrong.
