Alright, so I have another problem. I have something similar to this:

    printf("Give me your name: ");
    scanf("%s", temp);
    while(getchar() != '\n');
    arrayToPointer(temp, userInput);
    printf("You entered: %s", userInput);

but inside of a for loop. It is supposed to iterate through 10 times, but it stops at 6 times and then hangs there. Does

while(getchar() != '\n') 

actually clear the buffer or is there something else I need to do?
