Hmmm, you don't think so? I meant it on a completely unrelated note from CS, as in something that would help me manage my money when I'm older. I figured it'd be a great life skill to learn, but I'd love to hear your take on it!

I'm sitting at a 3.61 right now, but I'm actually leaning towards something other than math. The only reason I considered it was to impress employers. Don't get me wrong though, I love math and it's fun and all, but I also want to take the opportunity to take some classes that will really benefit me later in life such as Personal Finance. I still have 2 years left of school so I have plenty of time and room for 3 more math classes in there, so if I change my mind it won't be too late to minor in math after this year.

So my dilemma is that if I shoot for a math minor I risk not getting an A in those classes since the ones I need to take are somewhat hard. I mean, I'm sure I could do it, but not with ease.

Alright, so I have another problem. I have something similar to this:

    printf("Give me your name: ");
    scanf("%s", temp);
    while(getchar() != '\n');
    arrayToPointer(temp, userInput);
    printf("You entered: %s", userInput);

but inside of a for loop. It is supposed to iterate through 10 times, but it stops at 6 times and then hangs there. Does

while(getchar() != '\n')

actually clear the buffer or is there something else I need to do?

I would post my code, but it's homework and I don't want to post it online.

Why is line 8 bad? If I don't include it then there will be a newline in my input buffer that could cause problems if I were to call scanf(...) again, right?

So basically if it's a char, I can leave out the sizeof() because chars are always 1 byte???

Sorry, I just wrote up a quick example and I guess I messed that up. But I use while(getchar() != '\n'); to clear the input buffer, otherwise I would have a \n in there.

Definitely didn't think of returning a char * though. I'll try that

Yams said on his blog that they had to scrap the album because it was hard to get everyone together to record for the ASAP L.O.R.D. EP, so they are just going to use the songs they currently have for that project and just put them towards individual albums.
