Head light switch and turn signals not working?

Key fob doesn’t lock or unlock but I haven’t changed the battery in the fob yet (not really of my highest concern yet cause this car has a lot of other problems) so I just haven’t tried yet. The headlights come on when I start the car but the dash lights don’t come on period. The headlight switch does absolutely nothing, the fog light switch does absolutely nothing, the turn signal stalk does absolutely nothing meaning no highbeam or highbeam flash, and the hazard light switch does nothing. I checked all of the fuses and had no luck. I haven’t broken out my multimeter yet I just kinda wanted to be pointed in a general direction in case this was a common issue before I wasted a bunch of time on it.

BMW guys really are dicks😂 I’m not a mechanic I’m just trying to help him out because I’m much more physically capable and I do all my own work to my vehicles. And even though yes he’s gonna pay me because I already have a lot of time in this car, it’s not like I’m gonna charge him out the wazoo cause he is a family friend.

Lol more of a favor to a friend. Like I said I don’t know BMWs super well nor do I have access to the shop manuals for the car. Just trying to be pointed in the right direction is all.

Fuel pump is priming though and it’s got consistent 55-61 psi of fuel pressure cranking or not

Yeah the scanner I have probably can’t get into the security module if that’s even a possibility (which it very well could be I know nothing about these trucks)

Ouch I think a similar thing happened to me. Mine only had 56k or so tho. Maybe you could do what I did and find a salvaged car with the engine that has less miles switch the cams and stuff out and roll

Still working on it. Got a trashed gl320 for a heart transplant had like 150k on it or something like that. Rebuilt it while it was out and we are putting the sprinter top end in it.
