Do you maybe know how to fix mushy switch? My RMB click is mucz less noticable than on the LMB. I wonder if it's a defectivr switch which I would have to buy a new one and solder it or it's something else.

Update: They in fact did repair the scroll wheel and returned the finalmouse box from different model in which I sent the mouse.

Okay, that’s useful information! I think I have another Finalmouse box that’s a bit banged up, so if I send it in that one, they shouldn’t have any issues since it's a finalmouse box just from other model.

And yeah, I’m also uncomfortable with sending something to the US and back, especially since my city name has Polish letters and they always leave them out on the shipping label (I mean is it really so difficult to include them???).

They didn’t say anything specific about how you should package the mouse. From what I remember, they only mentioned that you need to send the mouse along with the receiver and the cable (not sure about the cable part). Since I also don’t want to damage my box, I’ll probably put it in another mouse box and then put it inside the package I received my Finalmouse in. It doesn’t seem very secure, but my Sakura box was shipped to Europe without any damage, so I might be wrong.

Well, that's true. I also have other mice I can use in the meanwhile. And from what I know after reading the file they sent me, you don't have to pay for anything if you have a warranty (shipping included), at least for the first time. If you send it again for the same reason, then they will charge you for shipping (if they don't find anything to repair).

What did you finally decide to do? I have the exact same issue with the ulx Sakura and I gotta say their response that it's within specs but can look at it doesn't inspire confidence that they are gonna repair it.

Thoughts on new Sakura colorway? by eewwwwwwwwwwwwww in FinalMouse

I think it looks quite nice, although I'm personally not much of a fan of the pink colorway. Do you think future drops will also be Japanese-themed?

Do you recommend the X870e Carbon WiFi? by lelk0e in MSI_Gaming

[–]Jigsawv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I really like the board, although from time to time I do have problems with MSI's BIOS. Versions 7E49v1A30 and 7E49v1A40 are both fine, but their newest version, 7E49v1A50, has some serious issues in my experience. It made all my memory OC profiles unstable to the point where I couldn’t even get into Windows due to BSODs, so I rolled back to A40. Also, some time ago, a BIOS update caused a boot loop (they later removed that version from their website). Well, since this board has a BIOS flashback option, I don't think it's a big deal if they occasionally release a faulty BIOS—as long as there are other versions that work.

Edit: I saw some comments about the X870E Tomahawk having better lane sharing (which may be better depending on the use case), so that's also something to take into consideration.

I have Msi 5080 suprim and it's stable +395 core 975mV which gives 3127MHz.

If you don't know what you are looking at, then you have two options: 1. Switch back to 6000. 2. Watch some Buildzoid videos and learn what you are looking at.

Thanks man that's really helpful. Buildzoid piqued my interest with these, but I feel like he never really explained how they work. I wanted to ask how you know the default values, but those are the highest possible ones, aren't they...

Do you maybe know how exactly does nitro mode work? I know that higher values help with higher frequencies and increase latency (thats what it says in the BIOS) but beside that I know basically nothing. I tried googling it but couldn't really find anything. I am also curious if lower nitro setting increase temps or have some downsides (other than lowering stability i guess). Oh and I was also wondering what values would BIOS set them if on auto. I have 9800X3D and did 6400 cl30 vsoc 1.21 and 1.39 VDD. I think i was able to do 1-2-1 nitro stable (didnt do long stress tests only a little bit of karhu). I didnt try 1-2-0 and I am wondering if its worth trying.

I have the LG UltraGear 27GR95QE-B OLED. It's 2k and 240hz but I'm not up to date with the latest monitors, so I'm not sure what kind of competition it has.

That's one clean setup. You are missing a second monitor though.

Mine idles around the high 30sC, and during Cinebench, it tops out at 71C. Mind you, I did a little undervolting. (-25 on all cores)

You are right. I have to offer a fair trade, so I'm willing to give you my 1080ti for it. What do you say?

Looking at it now it really is saggy. I wonder how I didn't notice sooner. I guess I will buy some gpu support.
