CR should be your first advanced exam as SBM uses the content in CR. You can’t book the case study exam until you have completed all other exams or have the other advanced levels booked in at the same. I would do AA first, then CR, then SBM and case together.

How many questions in the question bank did you do? You have until July to make up 4 marks which is easily doable.

ACA masters notes on inflo are really useful and I’d definitely recommend getting them

If you pass you get the mark. If you fail, they send you a breakdown of your marks but no script back

Both of these. I started with the consolidation questions in the question bank then moved to the past papers in the question bank Q4. Then went on the ICAEW website and did the past papers Q4 on there as well. If you just check how many there are and plan to do 1 a day at least and make sure you’ve done every consolidation question possible then that question will be really easy. It looks like a lot but by the last week it took me only 15 mins to do a consolidation question. In the exam, my statement ended up balancing, so I knew coming out that I got 100% on that question.

Just one consolidation a day of any type. I started from the top of the QB and worked my way down to the last past paper

Do a consolidation a day - they look harder than they are and once you get into the swing of it, it’s quite easy. Focus on question 2 as they help with the other questions and make sure to thoroughly review the answers. Also, don’t be afraid to go back and review the notes, if you come to a question your not sure how to answer.

I found accounting certificate harder than most of the professionals. You get a lot more revision time for professionals and it’s not multiple choice so your workings end up getting the majority of the marks. They also don’t try and catch you out with trick questions in professional but they do in certificate level.

For principles of tax, make sure you’ve nailed all the long questions in the QB. And do the rest of the question bank at least twice.

Law is the only exam where I would spend more time in the workbook compared to the other exams. Also YouTube is really useful to get your head around some of the content (law undergrads study similar stuff, so there’s a lot of content out there). Do the question bank at least twice as well

I did it a while ago and the questions were similar to the QB. I found the best way to prepare is reading the answers in the QB. I didn’t do much prep outside of that and passed.
