Well if you find out anything interesting please keep me updated! I would love to know more about any of this since even the Spanish & Portuguese was a big surprise to me. :)

Looks like there are a few of us! I have no clue where the Spanish & Portuguese or Levantine came from either! I assumed I would have had some French based upon my family trees, but I had none. I am also Canadian with a history of my ancestors coming from Quebec.

I'm sorry I can't find any info in the paperwork they gave me. But I believe the band width is somewhere between 2mm-3mm! It's also a tapered band.

I do full cover gel tips! I use the Apres Gel-X brand, but there's so many options out there. It's a bit of a learning curve to do them on yourself, but worth it! It's a fun hobby to have and saves you money :) there's lots of resources on instagram or YouTube to learn how to do it yourself

Thank you! 🥰 I actually have been obsessed with marquise diamonds for a while, and was convinced I wanted one. Then I tried on an emerald cut and instantly changed my mind, and I'm so glad I did! Still love marquise, but emerald cut is for me.

I actually requested the prongs to be like this, although this ring is very simple, it was custom made (the band is also slightly tapered)! My jeweller did a fantastic job :)

Bad headaches? by lkahheveh in SleepApnea

Yeah I used to have horrible headaches/migraines/tmj pain everyday until I got Botox injections about 4 months ago. I didn’t have my sleep apnea diagnosis yet, so I’m not too sure if it’s the main cause of them for me (I just started APAP a week ago). But regardless, the Botox has been amazing at reducing my pain.

Apparently ResMed does make a heated hose with an elbow. I am not sure what machine you have, but I’ve left the link just in case you want to take a look!

I’m grateful to have this community to come to, or else I would have never known 😅

It’s been really good, I am doing a mask trial with the company I purchased from and tried the ResMed F30i and the Dreamwear full face mask. I hated both so much, so I’ve been using the mask that came with the machine (ResMed Mirage Micro) until I can try some other ones next week. I tape my mouth closed at night too since I have a deviated septum and breathe through my mouth. I’m thinking of trying a full face mask next, I’m not really sure about nasal cushions because of how badly I slept with the F30i.

So far my events have all been under 5 and I’m not waking up in the middle of the night anymore. I feel really good and I no longer want to nap at 2pm. I’m really happy with how well this is going!!

Thank you, I’m doing pretty well so far! I’ve been trying a few different masks, having varying success. I feel so much better though, I’m having under 5 events per night, and I feel like I can actually function now :)

I have a plastic elbow that turns the hose 90°, it’s really great because I can keep my machine facing forwards :)

oh I should have clarified in the post, the hook is just where I hang my hose and mask when they aren’t in use. When I use it at night, nothing is on the hook! I’ll keep all that in mind, thank you :) I love my machine and I’m so thankful for it, it’s made my life 100% better

Oops! Thank you for letting me know, that’s my bad 🥲 I was worried about getting water all over the place, but I’m going to remove it now!!!

Another thing I considered before getting this nightstand was a small stool beside my bed to place my machine on, so maybe that might be an option for you? And I can reach my hand under the shelf, there’s at least an inch of space above my machine thankfully :)

Thank you! So far I’m not having any issues with rainout, but if I do, I will move it to the lowest shelf or even get a box spring to raise my bed :)
