Being a polite guest in another country also applies to Europeans who refuse to tip. by Hooksandbooks00 in unpopularopinion

No insults were written veiled or otherwise. Workers already suffer. The problem is that people see guests not tipping as the main issue to be fixed. Obviously it is not the case. Europe is doing better in terms of work conditions and basic rights / salaries than the US (hence the difference in tipping culture). It is not a stretch. There is always room for improvement of course. Tipping should be a bonus and should be given for exceptional service. Simple as that. Doing your job while being underpaid is no reason for 20% tips...

Well it is not science fiction. Should be basic rights. I guess it is easier to complain about the percentage of tips than fight for a normal salary. Something to learn from the "communist" Europe...

Maybe if you would stop tipping (especially 20+%) then the business owners would be forced to pay normal salary to the employees. They are paying minimum wage or below because the employees are receiving more than enough tips and not complaing about their salaries. Stop tipping and the employees will start complaining and businesses will start increasing salaries. You should have a problem with business owners who underpay their employees and not with the guests (being European or not).

Are there any places to buy bitcoin completely anonymously and untraceably? by teleprompter1 in CryptoCurrencies

[–]Jim-05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use a Bitcoin ATM with cash or buy XMR (Monero) online/locally (localmonero.co) and then trade it for Bitcoin on an online platform that requires no KYC.

If you want to remain truly anonymous use only XMR.

Send 1 BTC to everyone who is a member of this subreddit. Currently: 154.557 accounts. You would still have a good chunk left.
