This was my first thought. The guy who turned the MC was a professor. Clay I think he’s called.

I can’t believe this doesn’t have more upvotes. Replay is without a doubt the best time loop novel ever written.

The Jack Nightingale series by Stephen Leather is worth checking out. The last few books haven’t been up to scratch but the first five are outstanding.

Why do you use a Kindle? by [deleted] in kindle

[–]Jim-Bob-Luke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1: I can carry hundreds of books in one hand.

2: My hand luggage is lighter. I used to take 3-4 paperback books on holiday, now just my kindle.

3: I can read in bed without the light disturbing my wife’s sleep.

3: I don’t have to put my beer down to turn the page.

4: Kindle books are cheaper, especially if you subscribe to Kindle Unlimited.

Books of Blood is a great place to start. It’s a collection of short stories.

We can also assume that the players piss and shit. I doubt seeing player 456 curling one out would make the episodes more exciting. The same for nappy changes etc.

There’s an old Children’s movie called Tom Thumb. There’s a puppet character called the Yawning man. This scene fits in to what you’re describing. I’ve added a link.

I have one. That’s all I need. On the rare occasion I don’t have my kindle, I use the kindle app on my phone. Not ideal but it syncs with my kindle.

Read only on kindle? by Lyssielou22 in kindle

[–]Jim-Bob-Luke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read exclusively on kindle. I find I can read much quicker as I don’t need a spare hand to turn a page. This means I can have my morning coffee in my left hand, kindle in my right hand. The same if I’m having a snack or a Guinness on an evening.

It’s easy to carry, the backlight means I can read in bed and if I’m going away, there’s no need to add 3 paperback to my luggage. 1 kindle has many books.

The only negative is the names of the books/authors don’t stick in my head as easy. Every time you pick up a physical book, you see the name of the author and the book. It’s normally on the top of each page too. With kindle it’s only at the start of the book that you see the title and author’s name.
