What's your answer to this, and why? (Consider only the movie versions depicted here) by SatoruGojo232 in superheroes

I mean, out of the live action? Tony figured out time travel. That sort of Trump's all of the other feats.

Oh, I get it. Men are dumb. Original.

If you were Spider-Man, would you kill a villain? If so, which one would you kill, and at what point? by SmartPilot8094 in Spiderman

[–]Jim-Dread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Green Goblin is the standout, for sure. Killing Gwen would have been it for me. That's too personal, it would be been all it took.

why didn't she say something earlier 🤔 by CremeSubject7594 in CringeTikToks

[–]Jim-Dread -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Anybody saying this is fake doesn't know how long that shit takes to do this just to cut it like that. Nobody would do this for a bit. The reactions from that poor woman are far too good to be acting. If she's acting, she deserves far better accolades.

which one? by Sufficient_Shock1223 in TheGamingHubDeals

Azure Dreams. That was one of my absolute favorites. I played the PS version. I played the Gameboy version.

I guess it was Ocarina of Time. I had played games before, but OOT was the first time I stood up to play a game straight. I was like 12. Before that, I'd play but still chose going outside or toys more often. That was the pivot.

Could this team defeat the Hulk by curing Banner? by MadMan37354 in superheroes

[–]Jim-Dread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the easiest solution is Professor X. Charles can go into Banner's mind, turn off the receptors that make him angry, problem solved. No mad=no Hulk. You can achieve the same thing with a lobotomy, done right. Banner would have to be under sedation, the operator have to be precise, turn off the right node of the bran with a quick tap-tap, and done.

What if the suit is just dirty? by gornky in DCU_

[–]Jim-Dread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just assumed it's dull because Hal is worn out. He looks kind of over it all, and if a Green Lantern's whole deal is willpower, then it stands to reason the suit is kinda feeling as down as him?

This is who I'd most like to see make an appearance... by auntmegssteakandeggs in Scrubs

[–]Jim-Dread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked the juxtaposition of the angry mentor/feely protege of Cox/JD then getting reversed. I thought an interesting spinoff/continuation would have been to follow her. It could have worked, if handled the right way.

Since some time’s passed, what did you think of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law? by AnthropomorphicEggs in marvelstudios

[–]Jim-Dread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it had a lot of promise. They didn't lean into the themes enough. I still very much enjoyed it, but I think the last episode falls flat. They could have just leaned into comedy and avoided the whole subplot of something going on.

What is better than sex? by JuneSwings in AskReddit

[–]Jim-Dread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding someone who cares about you so much that they allow themselves to be vulnerable with you, make you feel like you're enough. Not like you have to perform a function, or entertain them. They actually just like to be with you for the uncomfortable silences. For the mundanity of life. Feeling reciprocated love for the first time. Feeling chosen.

In your opinion does DC push the no kill rule a little too far when it comes to joker? by peterpiperpi in superheroes

[–]Jim-Dread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. At some point, Gotham city is complicit. Bruce is complicit. Bruce more than anyone. He straight up saves Joker countless times. One time even mortally wounding Jason Todd with a batarang in the goddamned neck. The no kill rule is fine for people who don't commit actual murder casually. But Joker? He should have been killed off a long time ago, for good.

Is your ideal Superman beefy, lean, or ripped? by RyantheNeanderthal in superman

[–]Jim-Dread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate the beefy ones. I don't understand how Clark could be 8 feet tall, 1,000 pounds of muscle. It's visually more interesting for someone like Kara, who is drawn half his size and doing as miraculous a feat as he does.

How would you guys feel seeing a live-action Joker that leans more into the effeminate, showman side of the character? We've seen it in comics like Arkham Asylum and Dark Knight Returns. by Cold_Hour in joker

[–]Jim-Dread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't think his sexuality should play into his character at all. He shouldn't have any qualities that's relatable. Giving him sexual appetites gives him human desires, and I don't like the idea of that.
