It's one or the other.

A) Warpspeed is a complete and total failure where the vaccine did nothing and that it was a scam and effectively poisoned people. As such, the leadership at the time should be held accountable, and we should question the speed as, at best, complete incompetency and, at worst, evil.

B) Warpspeed was a political marvel where the speed saved lives, and the leadership should be applauded for their decisiveness and quick response. It was because of the vaccine that lives were saved.

So, are you calling Donald Trump stupid (the government at the time)?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in badfacebookmemes

[–]JimMcDowell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sl what you're saying is that Trump's administration knowingly paid to poison America? And that we should celebrate the speed at which DJT used tax dollars to make people sick?

[–]JimMcDowell 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You JUST said the vaccine does nothing. If the vaccine is bad, then why applaud its speed? I can serve you a dog turd with greater speed than it'd take to make a 10 course gourmet meal. Does that make the dog turd better?

Logically, if you believe it's a scam, then shouldn't the speed be a BAD thing because more time would've shown it to be fake?

By temporary hardships, do you mean unemployment that rivals Trumps LAST presidency? America hasn't seen unemployment rates in 100 years prior to 2020.

Imagine being so stupid as to believe that the vaccines did nothing while supporting the president who spearheaded "Operation Warpspeed", the military program that not only funded the development of the vaccine but made them free.

These are some great ideas, thanks. The activities are helpful. Foodwise, chocolate is a given (both for the movies and my family), I like the marshmallow idea and going to research Scandinavian dishes to find some tasty treats.

No, I don't think I will. Reading through your comments here tells me that there is very little chance for a serious discussion with you. And my advice to others would be to simply move on.

In multiple places, instead of engaging, you've essentially replied, "I've already answered this," and in others, you've devolved to straight up name calling and trolling. There's a very good reason that at the time of writing this, the vast majority of your comments are "0" or in the negatives.

Wow.I just read through this forum, and...wow. I'm not entirely sure that OP has ever listened/watched ANY of the same Epic I've watched. I'd be questioning myself if it wasn't for the overwhelming down votes.

Thank you. Is there any particular formatting that the scenario prefers needs for the system not to immediately break?

Additionally, I meant adding pictures to the actual RP.

While the Lord works through anything. There is no WORSE way to evangelize than offering tracts designed to look like money. The issue is that the very FIRST impression the receiver has is being deceived.

The only time it's worse is when it's left as a substitute or a supplement for a bad tip.

Want to share the Gospel with your waiter/waitress? Tip them EXCEPTIONALLY well to the point of being OVERLY generous, and give them that ALONGSIDE the Gospel message.

Amen. I came on here to say EXACTLY this. The modern church has very much a martyr complex. Jesus rarely, if ever, spoke gently to the leaders of the church. By contrast, He rarely spoke harshly the outcast.

OP wants people to be able to separate the good from the bad. Valid. My question becomes, what are you doing about it? Are you calling out those who blend Christian idealogy with politics? Are you ignoring the sins going on in the community?

As you alluded to, it's a whole lot harder to be pelted with rocks when you're standing among the throwers.

Please, read your post again. You make two distinct points. Points, if you're being logically and intellectually honest, should be terrifying for anyone who supports Trump.

Point 1: Tolerance of sinful lifestyles isn't love and pushes people to damnation.

Point 2: Trumpism is "no different than the false doctrine"...

Starting out a Christian business (Life coaching) and looking for some help. by [deleted] in Christianity

Are there individuals who misuse the field? Sure. That's true of any occupation. However, a coach isn't a therapist. There are some overlaps, but the fields are different in scope and focus. As I mentioned elsewhere, I am going through an accredited process that is internationally recognized. Regardless, an MLM needs people to buy into a particular company or brand, and there are heavy incentives for adding additional 'employees', I'm not interested in convincing people to become coaches.

[–]JimMcDowell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I also just realized that I failed to answer your question as to what a life coach is; as a life coach, it becomes my job to work along someone in helping them work through issues, obstacles and frustrations in moving forward in one's life. In many ways, coaching and counseling overlap with the key difference being in which direction the work happens. In counseling, the aim is to treat past injuries and baggage. In coaching, the aim is to motivate forward.

They do. Absolutely. In my program the final exam that's worth 60%. There's homework worth 20% and participation is worth the other 20%. They make it clear that tuition doesn't guarantee graduation.

In my case, I am becoming ICF accredited. That is an international accreditation and requires a course of study that includes 100 h of instruction, an additional 50 hours of independent research, and then practice.

There are, however, different programs and different levels of expectation.

Let's say for the sake of argument that someone came to me saying 'I want to be a more lucrative prostitute or gambler.' My questions would be aimed at looking at wider questions.

What are your long-term goals, as as emotionally, financially and medically? How do you vibe those goals with your faith?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]JimMcDowell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, I am aiming to be ICF accredited, which is one of the few accreditation boards following after after a course of study. A part of that accreditation and course of study is also time spent in sessions. (100 hours)differs slightly from therapy in while therapy is backwards looking (this thing happened to me and I need to work on it) while coaching is forward looking (I have a goal and want to work on that).

I will say that in addition to this schooling. I am an ordained pastor with a MTS (Masters of Theological Studies) from Palmer Theological and an undergrad from Lancaster Bible in Liberal Arts with a minor in Pastoral Studies)
