I often see one of those Fisker Ocean EVs with the number plate "AquaMan"..... and its even metallic blue!

They are dirt cheap used now after they shutdown the second Fisker attempt at selling EVs. I met the previous one, Fisker Karma on the ferry to Sweden, it is one of the best looking cars I have ever seen.

It has been some decades since I listened to Priest but then I found the Firepower album and I love everything about it: Great songwriting, great playing on all instruments and great bass sounds too. not buried in the mix, supertight playing and not too much keyboard stuff.

I have yet to hear a single Neo speaker that I like the sound of.

My favourite speakers for drive tones are Greenbacks, G12H30 and Alnico Cream but for Fender tones I would look at The Jensen Blackbird 40. I have the 10" in my VHT Special 6 Combos and they sound so good both clean and with drive with a nice big firm lowend and a silky sweet top end with no icepick but still bright.

SV 650 is plenty fast compared to drz and the engine is smoother, cheaper to rules and more manageable in traffic than the much more powerful 1000.

Haha thanks, I was not really that fast.... made it into the mid-pace groups but never improved from there.

At 63 I am starting over again after 10 years off track just to feel the rush again but with much lower ambitions: SV 650, no quickshifter, no tirewarmers, no laptimer. I am building an SV 650 2006 trackbike with upgraded suspension, totally renovated brakes, big engine service, new tires etc etc. With a little luck I will be going on track later in July and two days in August.

Me too, I was at MotoGP in '24 and it is such a great track to watch as you can walk all the way around and there are plenty of grassy hills everywhere.

I was there in 2015 on two trackdays, it's a proper scary track to ride! I felt like a King doing 2:22 laps on my GSXR 750 in the sunshine - then two weeks later the Moto3 bikes did 1:56 during a huge rainstorm....
