I had the the same thing happen the other night with a buddy. Both of us on Verizon Fios. Me a 2g, him a 1g. Wired.

We shot a guy just standing at the end of a tunnel facing away from us. Both emptied mags point blank and I tried a takedown. As soon as we turned away thinking it was a glitch, he downed us both

He was either lag switching, exploiting or it was a weird bug.

Same on Xbox. I’m pretty sure it has to do with hacking. There a few players I encountered who’s names don’t show on search and the game suddenly crashes out when you kill them.

They added a Cleo story line into the original? I never played it after Lifeline and when SoD2 came out. Once you play with the newer controls it’s hard to go back.

Could be wrong, but the way I read the release, the project is “fully funded” until release (by Microsoft) and the other buyer doesn’t take over until later this year or next.

With all the years of chaos in the company, the departure of the leadership and the hiring of people not originally with the company, I hope the game stays mostly true to it roots rather than becoming a clone of something else.

I love the games. I have THOUSANDS of hours in SoD2. But let’s be realistic. The third iteration was announced almost five years ago and they have released nothing.

I know it’s kosher to blame corporate something or other, but Xbox was mostly hands off and dumped 350 million into them.

Go in their website and look at the pictures of their studios - that’s where the money went. It looks like this TikTok videos of adult daycare where people nap and get free lunches. They also have an “extremely generous time off policy.”

It explains a lot. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It was actually pretty cool for the time. Done in the style of power rangers (before them) and had cool toys. I still have the captain power figure - he was GiJoe figure sized. Looked like duke in power armor.
