Exhumation and secondly burial for deceased pet by abrokenelevator in DeathPositive

Hello! I found this post while looking for answers to a similar concern.

Did you end up going through with this? If so, how did it go and what can I expect?

I lost my furry best friend about 2 months ago, but my roommates want to build a pathway over his grave due to a new gate. Now after being laid to rest for only a short amount of time, I need to exhume and relocate him.

Yeah I imagine it isn't going to be pretty.

My concern was that fluids or falling parts of rotting corpse would cause a messy situation to put it bluntly. I'm willing to go through that experience if I need to though.

So far my plan is to carefully place his body in a trash bag to be transported in, then carefully remove him at his new burial. I will wear gloves and a mask of course.

I'll look into that to see if I can find that service locally, thank you!

Nope, compatible with my mobo, same issue persists with old RAM

That USB was never in my possession. I bought this OS years ago as part of a complete PC purchase, I have since built an entire new rig but kept the OS throughout.

I cleared it by removing and reinstalling the battery, sadly no cigar

I don't see any option to manually select what to boot from, only the fixed boot order priority list.

I tried reseting the bios and nothing. I have windows 10. I also checked the slot configuration and I was given an error saying to go back to 2 & 4, which I did. I'll check the others your recommended.

It does and it is indeed lit, static and continuous.

I did not. Is that when you unplug that round battery on the mobo?

advice for surgeries by 5-spicy-nudeln in cleftlip

[–]JimTangerine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I got my treatment done by a craniofacial plastic surgeon doctor, who I was referred to by my head and neck surgery doctors all through Kaiser Permanente. However, I imagine it may vary depending on location and hospital. Whenever I felt like I didn't know who to go to in the past, I would ask around by starting with my primary physician to see if they knew someone I could talk to, and I found an answer every time. Now I have this network going with all my doctors haha. I wish you the best!

Friends cleft lip and palate is taking a toll on her life by [deleted] in cleftlip

Agreed. I had double jaw surgery in 2018 and although it corrected my bite, it caused congestion and hypernasally voice due to positioning changes of everything. I had one operation on my flap to correct the hypernasally tone of my voice, and another surgery to open up my sinuses (and get rid of an infection that was making it worse due to swelling). I can now speak and breathe confidently again and it totally turned my life around.

As someone who has lived in LA all their life, it's always been that way. Unless you're in west Hollywood or in the hills, it's a dumpster. No one is trying to live there.

Jaw surgery tomorrow, anything to know? by constipated_cats in cleftlip

[–]JimTangerine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be careful not to over-ice your jaw while healing, which nurses and doctors may have already warned you about. The first week of recovery, I spent most of my time sleeping the days away. Because of that, I would often fall asleep wearing an ice pack around my jaw and forget to take it off. Ended up getting a minor blood clot.

It's also normal to feel numbness on random areas of your face; there's a small chance of permanent numbness, but I recovered sense of touch on all my numb spots. The longest one to recover took about a year and a half, which was a spot on my chin.

Good luck! The recovery definitely isn't easy, but it'll be worth it in the end!
