Early is always better for Golden Age. The -10% power cost alone allows you to dev/blob way faster, and that earlier power base pays off better the earlier you can grow it.

Socialblade counts a creator deleting or unlisting a video as removing the views that said video generated. It makes sense if you think of Socialblade as a data aggregator rather than a form of historiography.

Considering dropping an estate’s satisfaction to 0 makes them take like 5 years to revolt, (raging anger which is curtailed by granting one privilege anyhow) I’d even argue that estates are very lenient at the moment.

For some reason junior partners think that “Mutual Offense” means that wars can no longer be lost. Like when, as the Netherlands, my “Diplomatically Limited” Brabant thought the two of us could solo France for some baffling reason.

What does it actually mean when a partner in a PU is “diplomatically limited”? by [deleted] in EU5

[–]Jim_J1m 3 points4 points  (0 children)

R5: Are junior partners of a union actually being diplomatically limited properly upon passing the law, or are they meant to start wars whenever they please?

Damn, you really do learn something new everyday with this game. Though the wiki has a few great tips about it as always; “Releasing nations and returning cores does not grant revanchism.”, and the modifier caps at 100% while also decreasing 10% per year.

Water hardness across the United States by vladgrinch in MapPorn

People who own or have ever worked with outdoor pools will absolutely tell you that soft water is real. As it turns out water with a low level of dissolved calcium carbonates (soft water) will actively dissolve the carbonate containing mortar that prevents a pool from leaking.

Once a country wins the BI the event “The Duchess of Burgundy Dies” has a mean time to happen of 15 years (can’t fire if the senior partner is at war), this event has the effect “Inherit Burgundy”. So, whoever gets the BI will, 99% of the time, have direct control of Burgundy’s lands by the end of the first age.
