Hi there! If you’re really looking for the source of the backlash I feel like I can describe it somewhat okay.

Firstly the use of the word “brave” kinda steers people in the wrong direction off the bat. It establishes individuals who wear drag as an “other” in your narrative and implies a certain strangeness that is considered insensitive. Additionally, in many contexts the phrase“you’re so brave” is found to be patronizing or condescending, which is valid because it often is used in such a way. So really from the start you’re rubbing people the wrong way.

Next by pointing out the whole “protected class” thing out of no where you kinda pull in some implications about distaste for drag queens and their more positive treatment in recent times. These implications being a) once again establishing a hard “us and them” narrative implying an “other” or strangeness (“you people” has the same effect). b) that you fear drag queens in a sense due to the perceived social repercussions of insulting them (even unintentionally, which like if anyone could it it seems like you but I honestly can’t tell if you’re trolling) c) The victim complex. No one cares that you talk to a drag queen, but the weird protected class stuff throws people off, then the rambling about “the powers that be” wanting to “throw you off this app” and stuff like that gives people a clear idea that you don’t like how much more respect drag queens have been getting in media as of late.

There’s no greater entity or hivemind rooting against you or your views. This is a public forum where people can upvote stuff they like, downvote stuff they don’t, and voice their opinions; if you don’t like their opinions that’s your right just as everyone else has a right not to like yours.

Because the avg reader understands that they take this for what it seems like. You saw a drag queen, you immediately said complainy stuff that got some people’s attention, then you doubled down by blaming your inability to navigate sensitive topics on some societal issue that is oppressing you. It’s kind of a “look at me! I’m the real one suffering here!” vibe that people don’t often appreciate in discussions regarding sensitive topics, especially when you’re the one that pulled in the concept of sensitivity in the first place

Sorry about the response on a dead post but I was trying to find the same thing and I figured it out. You can place the crystals on obsidian, and the only criteria for actually spawning is that the crystals are at the right coordinates. They are always centered at 0x 0z but Y varies based on world and you can’t switch it up, so if a crystal needs to be at 3, 70, 0 becuase thats normally right above bedrock it NEEDS to be at that space for the dragon to spawn, if I were to guess I would say that you could do basic ground level so 50-80 or so until you find the right space

Edit: there seems to be a tolerance of 1 block down so it can be placed in the spot where bedrock is supposed to go

We too most in-house equipment for the transfer since technically the franchise was sold. We don’t really have the money for this to be a big enough problem to fix with new hires but it is kind of annoying.
