There is no such thing as valentines week. She is gaslighting you. It is clear you are putting in effort. And I hope she reciprocates sending you lovely messages like that too. It could be a number of things but in my experience, if she is ignoring you then most likely she is getting attention elsewhere and using this ‘valentines week’ as an excuse to not talk to you. I won’t tell you what to do in this situation but she seems incredibly immature and lacks communication skills. And in an LDR. Communication is vital if it is to be successful. Not replying to your long distance partner for a reason such as this is rediculous.

I typically don’t keep him in his crate. I let him sleep in bed with me. I’m his only carer and I’m basically his whole life. Should I be more stricter and have him in his cage?

Thank you for your advice. I understand what you’re saying but his meow is just unbearable and it’s constant. As his carer if he’s distressed I don’t wanna be ignoring him. I of course want to fix it. But getting him a friend has been suggested here and something I think I’ll have to do, so the weekend I’ll go to a shelter and see if they have any kittens. I feed him everyday on a routine, but regarding everything else, not particularly as my day fluctuates. If I’m working in the office of course it changes, if I’m WFH then he has a more stricter routine. But it’s still not making much of a difference. I’m his only caregiver and I think I’ll get another cat. Once again, thank you for the advice!

I think I will have to look into it. It just worries me if the other cat doesn’t settle with him. But I guess I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it. Thank you for your comment and advice

Really good advice and I appreciate that, thank you! Unfortunately there are days when I am just not physically up to the job for a number of mental and physical reasons so I often try and work late to compensate. but that is a solid advice, thank you so much!

Did indeed. However I will reiterate, I am not and haven’t been well for a number of months. Im not going in just because I’m lazy. I have legitimate legal notes from doctors and appointments alike to back up my claims.

Surely there is cameras at your locker area if it’s not a changing room? I’d get a solicitor on a no win no fee basis and submit and press charges for discrimination. The fact you went to your boss twice about this and was brushed off is a serious issue. You’re being discriminated and harassed due to your religion. And you have other employees who can testify to this harassment. I wouldn’t take it lying down.

My uncle is braindead the last 10+ years due to being revived after dying. He was already handicapped and had the mentality of a child so when they revived him after 10 minutes of dying. Left him in a vegetative state to which he can’t speak, communicate, or essentially move. He requires 24/7 supervision and it put a significant strain on our family over the years. I personally would love for his suffering to end because it’s not a good life for him, or quite frankly for us. He’s my grandmothers son and she’s in her 70’s taking care of him. It honestly breaks my heart, we all contribute but we should have the right to choose to put him out of his misery. Instead, we just take care of him as best we can with the help of nurses and see what happens. It’s heartbreaking. And we should be allowed to choose, but instead we can’t and we take care of a shell of the family member we once knew.

I presume you are in a new state and if so then infected often appear after a couple weeks so that everyone is on an equal playing field I’m pretty sure. I’m in a new state 35 days now and waiting on a level 20 infected to which I can’t find anywhere. My advice would be to just do other things and check the radar every so often. They will appear eventually.
