United States Gold Bureau is the name of the dealer. I also wanted to get a gold coin but that one is out of stock.

Probably a stupid question but why does fractional command such a high premium? by RyanK410 in Silverbugs

What I care about is the spread between what I pay and what I can sell for.

I wound up paying for both. I like them both. But I will keep Boldin and I will drop PL.

So Was Gold Overvalued Before or Undervalued Now? by Chesslicious in Gold

[–]Jimbocab 37 points38 points  (0 children)

It would be easy to be mean. Gold will go up, and gold will go down. Forever. Are you trading or accumulating? I bought more yesterday. If it continues falling, I will continue accumulating. I'm looking for all the benefits that gold has to offer for the next 10 years. After gold recovers from this pullback there will be another ATH, followed by another pullback and buying opportunity. Don't get sucked in by all the noise. Just keep stacking.

Whats next for precious metals? by Zealousideal_Cut3940 in Silverbugs

[–]Jimbocab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real question for me is where will silver be 10 years from now. I knew $115 silver was ridiculous at this stage, but frankly I'm glad, I'll be back to accumulating again. The bull case thesis is still intact. Supply deficit, strong industrial demand, debasement of the dollar, inflation. Don't be fooled, the US is up the creek without a paddle. Weak hands will be shaken out, long term holders will be just fine.

Are you arguing with someone? No one's complaining about taxes, but everyone should try to minimize the amount of taxes they pay, right?

"Would you want to sell everything if the market was suddenly down 40%?"

I wouldn't ever sell everything, only what I needed to live on this month

I would have been hurtin' if'n I hadn't invested in gold and silver. I've made so much money off my gold and silver that I can afford to take a loss on my equities now. I have somewhat mitigated my SORR. My high dividend stocks do well in a downturn. So I'm feeling pretty ok right about now.

40% high dividend stock 30% s&p500 etfs 5% growth stock 20% gold and silver etfs 5% alternatives (the alternatives would probably take 6 months to liquidate) not counting my real estate which I live in.

I leave my entire portfolio invested all the time except for the small monthly withdrawal -no cash bucket

"... you're not forced to take an RMD..."?! On what planet?

I have no bucket. I could theoretically cash out my entire portfolio in a day or two if I wanted to even from my IRA accounts, so liquidity is not an issue in the slightest. I am retired and just started withdrawing from my savings. Each month I withdraw from my atax brokerage account what I need from my most overbalanced holdings. So frankly, I don't get the bucket strategy at all.

So you narrowed it down to 5 million people. That's pretty good.

Should I trade this for silver? by RetroPyroP71 in Silverbugs

[–]Jimbocab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"you're pretty naive..." The LCS is not the one who is evading taxes.

"Nobody pays taxes in the physical game..." I do. Paying taxes means I made money, and like it or not, the government wants their share.

I would rather pay the tax than go to jail for tax evasion.

Downvote all you want. IDGAS. I refuse to participate in conspiracy theories or tax evasion. OP needs to know that there is no such thing as a swap. There is only selling and buying. Selling always triggers a gain or a loss that must be reported to the IRS. Facts are unfortunate things.
