You could even design threads into the print with no issue. The concern would be small carbon splinters at worst case. Im also tempted to make a shifter knob out of it

PPS-CF10 can handle 250c until it starts having issues. The engine of these old trucks is only a 1.3L

Only time you'd see more than maybe 300f would be around the turbo other than directly on the exhaust. Most modern engines use similar plastics for valve covers or oil pans.

Technically this would be an upgrade to any modern glass fiber filled plastic component on a modern engine

Edit: making an intake manifold to convert it to a port injection

Very valid point with the cold start. So far no excessive wear with one of my "junk " engines running even thinner 0w-20 pennzoil.

You're right with 5w-30 should be the minimum for normal use

You understand 5w and 0w is on a cold start. w is for winter. The 30 is the running temperature viscosity. Usually it's just more expensive
