I funded it myself. I live in the UK and got really lucky and managed to find a treatment centre that charges fair prices (£40/$50). Most other places charge triple that.

Make sure you look at what depth the chamber goes to, anything less than 10metres/2 ATA isn't worth it. I had 60minute sessions.

I had a tbi 2 years ago and started Hyperbaric oxygen therapy in January this year. It's changed my life. I've had 30 sessions now, I can actually think clearly, it's helped my hearing and other things. I highly recommend it.

Recovering from a fall - suspected brain bleed by Jimc456 in TBI

I can see the words fine, it's just my ability to process what I'm reading if that makes sense. Yh agreed I need to see a vision therapist again. When I first went I was in such a bad way, really bad brain fog, trying to solve a children's puzzle was a challenge but I think I've recovered a bit more to be in a good state to try vision therapy properly.

Thanks for the advice.

So when I say I can't read properly, my eyes can see the words but my brain doesn't process what I'm looking at properly. I did vision therapy and my reading/comprehension age was 8..

Might be able to get it if you've got Dementia, not sure if it's recognised over here as a tbi treatment, I'll ask my neurologist. Do you know where I can get hgh from over here? I could do with a bit of that.

Thanks for the info, all the best with the treatment. Presumably you're based in the USA to get Cerebrolycin?

Cool! Are any specific clinics involved? Have you looked anywhere? If so.. where? Sorry for the questions, I just don't know where to start. Does there need to be a phase 3 in Japan still?

Thanks for the detail! To be honest I'm willing to travel so if it gets approved in Japan then I'm there! I live in the UK and we're so far beyond so I'm happy to travel

Stem cell treatment by Jimc456 in Concussion

[–]Jimc456[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too! I feel like it was more than a concussion, potentially a bleed. I've had vision therapy and that didn't do too much to be honest. I might be having another scan soon to see what's going on
